it's strange b/c this is one of my favorite Sigur Ros songs of their entire catalogue. yet when i asked them about the song they all said that they hated it and wouldn't play it...ever. Immortel Ad Vitam is a magnificent piece of science-fiction, filled with symbolisms. Hjartað Hamast is simply one of the best songs from Sigur Ros, which is to say a lot, since all their songs are majestic, and Agáetis Byrjun is an outstanding record. When I first watched Immortel and listened to this song for the very first time, I fell in love, not yet knowing that I would eventually adore the band that played it :). Sigur Ros makes my heart beat strongly! D.R.

They did play this song at the debut concert for Agætis byrjun, then they played it at another concert in my hometown. That was some weeks/months after the debut-concert.
