This is the only cRPG I have played where you start in a city and the city gets attacked. Normally in cRPG's your first fight is in a forest outside of town where you have been sent on your first quest!

@ScornThySoul You will never ever see an isometric game nowadays where Diablo isn't mentioned, however different it is! It can have an open world rather than a dungeon, tons of aside quests, much more stats and attributes and much more in the way of story-telling and it will still be called 'Diablo like' just because it's isometric!

even though this game has many bugs, and doesn't have a great close storyline like Diablo or Dungeon Siege or something similar, it's still fun to play...especially cuz there's a Dark Side-Light Side thing in the game, you can be with the machines(technology), or with nature...it's kinda weird at first, it takes time to get used to but it's definitely playable

Dungeon Siege ? ... being the descendant of a long lost race, and the background story of the characters...they are great...ok, I haven't played DS 1, I was talking about DS 2...and I don't care...if you play it and find out enough about the details, you can certainly realise what a good storyline it has

nah...I've played DS 1 for a bit...the problem is..in that game, you have so much freedom of control over your character, that there is no actual "Main storyline" in that version...I've played it for a brief period...like 2 days :))...but DS 2 is really good...I recommend it.

DS 1 had a very very very extensive world though. I loved the original (not the expansion). DS 1 was the better IMO

I know it had. But it didn't actually concentrate enough on the storyline, IMO. At the end of the game, I had no idea what I had done. It has a larger world, yes, but IMO, DS2 was a lot better since it had a pretty good storyline, and still had several sidequests.

The game is worth buying and playing :) especially with official addon. It is not online, it's crpg. But you can play on lan or buy internet in cooperation mod :) We tested it in playsoft Poland for monte cristo and Im telling you it is good game. Graphics can be lot better with good computer and the spells are awesome. Gameplay is a lot of fun :] You can be king of the silverfall so everyone will serve you :P

gameplay and the footage in trailer is so off, most of the time ur camera will be zoomed way out so u can click on the monsters, you wont be conducting your fights in that camera view

the whole game consist of you and ur "npc companions" fighting groups of 3 - 4 monsters, the game doesnt really have much replability after three times, playing warrior, archer, and wizard

but the game is FUN and the loot... man there is so much loot in that game, overall... definitely worth playing once or twice

I've only played the demo, but I'm very disappointed in this game. It looks great, the description sounds great, but there is no 'game' to this game! My little ice mage was pretty much invincible at level 5. I click, click, clicked until level 10 and turned it off. Take as many mobs as you like - frost nova - elemental boltx5 - repeat. Maybe I've been playing RPGs too long...this bored me

I downloaded the demo for this through Steam. its rubbish, the controls are crippled and the storyline is dull. the combat system is also crippled and so is the camera. this game is a load of shit, it tries to rip off class games like WoW!
