I just checked out "Valarie Pettiford's" sight, she is the actress/singer/dancer who plays 'Big Dee Dee" She seems to be very talented and warm, "Phyllis"/Thelma Hopkins, used to sing back in the day with Tony Orland and dawn, they are both renowned talented performers. Valarie was excellent in Glitter,playing Mariah's mother.

I really like this show, Half & Half. But what I don't like about it is Big Dee Dee. She's a total snob and treats Phylis like she's below her. Phylis looks WAY better than that stuck up shrew Big Dee Dee. Phylis is a woman who can relate to the average person struggling. Big Dee Dee is a uptight prissy bitch. She's also a gold digger. All she does is spend her husband's money. She's a sleezy bitch. Phylis may be loud, but I'd pick her to date. She's real.

I watch this show all the time on Channel 9. I happen to like Dee Dee Thorn (Essence Atkins) in this show. She's the best looking sister. She's got an incredibly beautiful smile. She's also very articulated, sophisticated, and classy. I like that in a woman. I'd love to date a beautiful sister like her. She is totally gorgeous.

It was cancelled! If you recall correctly, it left off with a cliff hanger. If it had ended there would have been closure. We never found out who Mona chose between Chase and Lorenzo.
