  • WHY HAVE I NEVER SEEN/HEARD THIS.

  • Truly amazing. I wish I can click Like more than once

  • Devalue me tricksters & trematodes! I shall travel by elephant throughout rural India and participate in Jharkhand's 3-day festival which entails allowing cobras to bite participants repeatedly to honor Goddess Mansa Devi, oh yeah, yeah, yeah!!! Maketh not the tragedy mine to bed yogurts and eat ogres...

  • Like all biological entities I'm strictly limited as to how far my strengths and talents (if any) can take me. In the end, time, misadventure, or both, will prove for me unconquerable and I will cease to function. I shall be rendered back to constituent elements. My physical self (shell), if my wishes are honored, will be incinerated.

  • New victims' groups are groping & grouping—find your grouping groupment and demand a groping! Be Hispanic—be Negro—be female—be deconstructive—be a homosexual—be my Valentine! The United States tolerates the Congressional Black Caucus which bars white congressmen from joining, due to skin pigmentation. Thinking personally is the only way as a person is not able to think and form the thoughts of others.

  • John's talking about adding a snippet at the end of a song, saying, "That's all folks!" Interestingly, on the stripped down version of Double Fantasy, the album ends with a barely audible John saying, "That's all folks!" I guess he got his way in the end.

  • This tape needs to be sent to Abbey Road so they can extract the conversation from the background playing. Hearing Paul go through HS is cool, but i also care about the conversation John & George are having, and i wish it were clearer.

  • pauls high singing...kind of orgasmic.

  • At 0:42, that has got to be one of the, if not THE last photo ever taken of The Beatles standing together! It's definitely post "Abbey Road." Paul was probably starting to record "McCartney" at the time of that photograph.

  • @MattHatter ? George is not even in that pic. The last pics of them together was towards the end of August, 1969 (same photoshoot as the cover of The Beatles Again album) (aka Hey Jude)

  • @njriley55 No, no, no. I know the last photo session of all FOUR of them was in August of 1969 but you don't see any photographs of them after that session that gets as close to all of them together as that photo does with Alan Klein. In December of 1969, there are some photos of John and George performing together with Delaney and Bonnie though.

  • george martin was a complete genius, but an absolute dictator. john always gets flack for telling him to shove it for Let It Be, but he's so just weirded out by some interesting ideas john's trying to convey. he's being a complete asshole, so passively dismissive. "it sounds a bit weird", well yeah, but i'd give anything to hear that at the end of helter skelter. helter skelter makes me have seizures of fuzzy terror. it's the most terrifying bass line on earth. "LOOK AFTER YOURSELVES"

  • "Look after yourself."

  • paul mccartney is such a great musician

  • Did helter died?

  • I've only heard portions of that one before. The "Here today,Gone Tommorrow" bit is new to me. Thank You/

  • Geez, eerie picture at :42 with Allen Klein, the financial manager who tore apart the group (and almost the Stones).

  • wow paul sounds exactly the same before and today

  • Paul McCartney lovely voice I LOVE it ♥

  • yes u2 did the song in the 80s

beatles did it in the 60s

i think the word you wanted to use is "guy guys"

  • all bands from The baetles...

  • I love how it starts with Helter Skelter and it somehow transforms into Blackbird.

  • I love the photo of John, Yoko, Allen Klein, Paul and Ringo...how did McCartney not kill Klein right there???

  • why dont they have the full video.. theres a partial video and this full audio.. I want it!! thanks alot for this tho

  • Its amazing how the simplest thing he does can turn out so amazingly good it givess me chills that amazing voice

  • Paul's little version of Helter Skelter was awesome. :O

Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo.

    xDDD

  • thats a demo :D

  • It still sounds gear.

    - w -

  • paul was a male liza minelli---it must have been nuts at the end. george martin had to play school marm. john was a killer--- if you did not get it

  • how was john a killer?

  • Why oh why didn't Paul finish that "Gone Tomorrow Here Today" song?! It sounded like it had the potential to be such a good one...

  • Helter Skelter! Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo.

    Love that.

  • and nice pics..

  • I love this song ! Where did you take this demo?

  • What's Paul playing in between Helter Skelter and Blackbird?

Look after yourselves, by the way. haha

  • Comment removed

  • I know, me too. I was excited when I first heard it cuz it's like, "Wow, a new Beatles song I haven't heard before!" haha

  • You have it already?? But it hasn't come out yet! How'd you manage that? Yeah, we do :)

  • Hey had it already, because he's RINGO!

  • the pict at 2:16 reminds me of how much john is missed. R.I.P

  • its mad that as well as all those tunes there's also so many little snips of converstion and fly onthe wall bits to get into, I'm never going to run out of beatles discoveries YEY!!

  • I love the way John says, "Look after yourselves, LOOK AFTER YOURSELVES!" It makes me rewind it every time.

I love the way that Paul doesn't just sing a song one way ALL THE TIME like a lot of so called musicians today do.

    He's purely a genius.

  • I always loved John best because he was slightly mad, easily distracted, and CRAZY, having fun, a NON-LINEAR THINKER, like me. God rest him.

  • @binkle1 There aren't many in music that think like John Lennon anymore which is a real shame because it's people like him and The Beatles that made music great. I sometime worry that popular music will never be the same again. The indie music scene is where it at these days.

  • @binkle1 Everyone describes me as John Lennon ^^

  • @binkle1 yeh he was more trapezoidal

  • Is that a photo of Paul McCartney laughing and joking with Allen Klein c. 1969? I thought he hated his guts?

  • Probably posing.

  • I could listen to Paul sing forever. Imagine drinking some brew and playing some guitar, and singing songs with Paul. I could die that night, and it'll be allllll right.

  • i love paul's singing in the back ground :)

  • He's better at soothing, low volume stuff, isn't he?

  • oh god ¡¡¡¡

if you see that pau´s video in wich he is singing this alone you can see George M. and john like talking about sth

and in this one you hear their conversation XD

it sounded cheese but to me is awesome :D

  • The photo at 3:55 is so great.

  • :D I love that version of Blackbird at the end! They should have kept it like that!

  • I think it would've appealed to lennon's sense of humour that a one legged woman was the one that ran off with all paul's money!

  • god i never want paul's singing to end. he was a freaking song bird, i tell ya.

  • "Look after yourselves" was originally said at the end of the Beatles Xmas album 1967.

  • Love Beatles outtakes. Check out this cover on You Tube: Beatles Studio Talk / Gone Tomorrow Here Today.

  • at 2:05 paul has a capo on his ric bass. i play bass have never used a capo on it,but just another way they would get different sounds and effects out of their instruments!!! have to try it!

  • Paul, q d+, q d+!!

  • Pause at 1:37. George Martin as Gandalf and the Beatles as the hobbits! HAHAHAHAHAH

  • geeeeeeee, this is a superb version!!! allways founding treasures!!!

  • A great song. I wish Paul had finished it or resurrected it for Wings. Is there another take of it, anywhere?

  • This is one of my favorite John moments. "look after yourselves". Love that.

  • ここに来てる人達は凄いBeatles通ですな!

    英語を喋れん俺もなんとなくみんなのカキコわかる。

    やっぱ、彼等が支持されていることを再認識できた。

    Thanks ☆☆** v(o^▽^o)v**☆☆

  • Wow. That photo at 0:43! Paul McCartney and Allen Klein in the same photograph? And Paul looking happy to be standing next to him???? For crying out loud!

  • why it sounds really good.

  • yeah that's HARDROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • One of the pics is George Martin, Epstein, and Walter Shensen who produced both Help and Hard Days Night, man, cool.

Love how Lennon acts like some boring part in Revolution keeps hangin´round and he needs help in cutting it out!

  • what song does paul start singing around 2:50 before he starts strumming to blackbird?

  • You really have to watch the anthology vids to see all of this.

  • I know that there is a video here on youtube that was released by Apple, the Beatles recording label, that is about 1:06 long. It didn't seem like the full clip, but this is as close to complete as I got.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

  • were did u find it?

  • @hazel10987 Hey Hazel, could you send me this on through an e-mail? :D :D :D

  • Whoa ! Awesome - never heard it before !

  • Well, I am glad that is decided...

    Yeah, sure, whatever...

  • HOLY COW! PURE GOLD! Thanks so much for the chance to hear!

  • Does anyone have the legendary twelve minute version of helter skelter ?

  • you mean the legendary 28-minute take.

  • @beatleboybob It's not a twelve minutes version, it's the twenty-seven minutes version what you are looking for. And no, nobody here has that record, unfortunetly.

  • this version would be good if it werent for the dododododododo paul does it makes it sound like an outtake lol

  • classic Lennon--genius!!

  • I think they were discussing "good night". "Something for the album to go out on..."

  • Pretty sure John and George Martin were discussing tapes for the stage rendition of his book 'In His Own Write.' The play came out in June '68 and featured a lot of ridiculous sounds and noises (as would be expected). Stuff almost along the lines of Revolution 9, but more humorous and witty. John was working on collecting tapes for this at about the same time he was making Revolution 9 actually.

  • I prefer this version, It has a more soulful sound to it, I sometimes skip the version on the album being as it's so harsh sounding, no doubt it opened a few doors for the rock scene though.

  • Well, the whole point of the song was to be harsh!!

  • i like the harshness :D

  • Long live harshness.

  • here here.

  • Funky, jazzy. Cool.

  • yeah.

  • I LOVE THIS VERSION!!!! The Beatles are great! ooh and Paul sings sooo good!!

  • ooh this is the continuation of the beatles rehearsal vid! the helter skelter, talking about revolver, ahah was the whole "look after yourselves" supposed to be a part of revolution or helter skelter? wel, at the end of some song anyways, that obviously never went through lol. aww wow, this is great!

OH AND PAUL's other song, gone tomorrow, here today, is there a real recording for it? OOH and the beginning of blackbird, it just makes me melt, paul's such a singer such a writer, so is john.

  • of course Yoko's involved in the conversation..

-i actually prefer this version of the song..its nicer-
