John's talking about adding a snippet at the end of a song, saying, "That's all folks!" Interestingly, on the stripped down version of Double Fantasy, the album ends with a barely audible John saying, "That's all folks!" I guess he got his way in the end.

This tape needs to be sent to Abbey Road so they can extract the conversation from the background playing. Hearing Paul go through HS is cool, but i also care about the conversation John & George are having, and i wish it were clearer.
At 0:42, that has got to be one of the, if not THE last photo ever taken of The Beatles standing together! It's definitely post "Abbey Road." Paul was probably starting to record "McCartney" at the time of that photograph.
@MattHatter ? George is not even in that pic. The last pics of them together was towards the end of August, 1969 (same photoshoot as the cover of The Beatles Again album) (aka Hey Jude)
@njriley55 No, no, no. I know the last photo session of all FOUR of them was in August of 1969 but you don't see any photographs of them after that session that gets as close to all of them together as that photo does with Alan Klein. In December of 1969, there are some photos of John and George performing together with Delaney and Bonnie though.
george martin was a complete genius, but an absolute dictator. john always gets flack for telling him to shove it for Let It Be, but he's so just weirded out by some interesting ideas john's trying to convey. he's being a complete asshole, so passively dismissive. "it sounds a bit weird", well yeah, but i'd give anything to hear that at the end of helter skelter. helter skelter makes me have seizures of fuzzy terror. it's the most terrifying bass line on earth. "LOOK AFTER YOURSELVES"
its mad that as well as all those tunes there's also so many little snips of converstion and fly onthe wall bits to get into, I'm never going to run out of beatles discoveries YEY!!
@binkle1 There aren't many in music that think like John Lennon anymore which is a real shame because it's people like him and The Beatles that made music great. I sometime worry that popular music will never be the same again. The indie music scene is where it at these days.

The British were masters of covert ops. during ww 1&2. They fooled the German high command again and again, and frequently used imposters. When Paul "went away" he was replaced with a ringer in the English traditions because it was thought the beatles would never be accepted with another new member. (Pete Best and Stu Stucliffe were both former members).
Wiliam Shepard Cambell of the "Pepperpots" was allegedly groomed into the group as the "new" paul.
I could listen to Paul sing forever. Imagine drinking some brew and playing some guitar, and singing songs with Paul. I could die that night, and it'll be allllll right.
at 2:05 paul has a capo on his ric bass. i play bass have never used a capo on it,but just another way they would get different sounds and effects out of their instruments!!! have to try it!
Wow. That photo at 0:43! Paul McCartney and Allen Klein in the same photograph? And Paul looking happy to be standing next to him???? For crying out loud!
I know that there is a video here on youtube that was released by Apple, the Beatles recording label, that is about 1:06 long. It didn't seem like the full clip, but this is as close to complete as I got.
what's with Kansas City/Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey?! "Wild honey pig" Why Don't We Do It in the Road? only 15 words, and even a song with one word?!?!?! To say nothing of the receptiveness of it all. I have an opinion and it is and will always be that they suck.
@beatleboybob It's not a twelve minutes version, it's the twenty-seven minutes version what you are looking for. And no, nobody here has that record, unfortunetly.
Pretty sure John and George Martin were discussing tapes for the stage rendition of his book 'In His Own Write.' John was working on collecting tapes for this at about the same time he was making Revolution 9 actually.
I prefer this version, It has a more soulful sound to it, I sometimes skip the version on the album being as it's so harsh sounding, no doubt it opened a few doors for the rock scene though.
ooh this is the continuation of the beatles rehearsal vid! the helter skelter, talking about revolver, ahah was the whole "look after yourselves" supposed to be a part of revolution or helter skelter? wel, at the end of some song anyways, that obviously never went through lol. aww wow, this is great!
OH AND PAUL's other song, gone tomorrow, here today, is there a real recording for it? OOH and the beginning of blackbird, it just makes me melt, paul's such a singer such a writer, so is john.
