I remember really liking the UK version when it was screened. It's such a shame ITV stripped it down for the 2nd series. It was a real treat to watch. I think if the 2nd series wasn't stripped down and brought back with relatively the same format, it could've been a success.

Actually, Survivor started because of a sweedish reality show called Expidition Robbinson. The american version was just more popular
