His death was due in part to bad parenting in comparison the Ayatollah lost his dad and mom before he was 15 and survived completely okay - why because he was happy with what he had.

Not sure why people like you always have to use the word "money" to justify the wrong that has been done in and to our country.

The truth is 90% of people in Iran never accepted Ayatollah Khomeini, & 90% of the people in the world saw him as an autocratic and fanatical religious leader. having said that, you are entitled to your opinion although I believe ayatollah had certain complexities and was a power hungry person.

@StarOfFreedom- The Ayatollah brought about his revolution while he was in France via letter and mails to Iran. He did not only topple the Shah and his security but also the Revolutiionary Guard and the Iranian Army- you are telling me he did all that with only 10% on his side - that does not make any sense go and study Iranian History. The Ayatollah showed Iran how not to bow down outside powers and to treat everyone fairly- Like Imam Ali and Imam Hussain and the Prophet - peace be on them
