I like how they've animated Jedi and Sith combat styles differently. The Jedi seem more fluid and flowing with their attacks, whereas the Sith hack and slash.

Siths masters from the old empire were also orders of magnitude stronger than Darth Bane / Darth Sidious / Darth Vader. Jedi too, Revan, Qel Droma, the Apprentice ... all were not even playing on the same level than Skywalker / Obiwan... The Star Wars universe like the W40K Universe is technologically regressing....

@chunchoe No it doesn't. Bane does away with the dark council as he sees it destroyed and then goes on to institute the "rule of two" which you see in action in all the movies. There is only two Sith, a greater and a lesser in a sense. So clearly this time period of the old republic is full of Sith, by the time Bane's legacy gets started its just him and His apprentice.

I think the years are messed up...You set Return, which happens before the other two videos, at 3,681 BBY. Deceived, which takes place after Return and Hope is set at 3,653 BBY.

@thingymabob1000 my memory may be off since its been a while since read it but i read the SW:TOR Deceived novel. Basically Sith came and wtfraped the jedi temple/coruscant. Discussions of peace are happening between the sith and the republic on Alderaan despite the battle, which i believe leads to Republic giving coruscant peacefully to the sith. Malgus is killing higher ranking members of the sith working his way up in the order, partially due to his disagreeing of the negotiations, readbooketc

@equinox9 no. It is in the proper order of the chronology. Return happens before Hope and hope before Deceived. Look at how Malfus ages in all three and that will also help make it clear.

@equinox9 Here's some education for you since I actually took the time to see this, nerd I know, but the reason why it seems wonky is because "Return" is...well when they came back. While "Hope" is early on in Malgus' campaign against the Republic, which as you can see failed. So Malgus escaped and recouped his strength, I will admit dunno how much time lapses there, and then he does a full invasion of Corusant. With that invasion it's the set for the war that is the MMO.

Yeah, looking at Malgus is actually a really good way to perceive the timeline. In Return he's much younger and is still an apprentice. In hope you can see he's aged a little, but more importantly his face is still mostly unscarred. However at the end, the troopers grenade severely burns him and messes his face up... which is why we see him with a respirator and a scarred face in Deceived.

I have seen enough gameplay from leaks, E3, PAX east to firmly state that this game will be awesome. There is only one last thing I need - this game to be released :)
