Even when Marvin was "fooling around" with a track, he still made the song full. That was part of his genius. =)

@timmy841212 Word. Pretty much...he could do no wrong. When I first started listening to him I only liked about three songs. Then I discovered a few more. Then a handful more. Then more. This went on for a few months until I realized that just about all of his songs are good....all of them.

In all seriousness, I consider this song to be the one of the greatest in Marvin's prolific catalogue. With the authenticity of his lyrics, the beauty of his voice, and the scatting, crooning he does at the end, this song has got me through some of the most horrific hell I've had to endure in my life. I've cried, made love, smoked, rode, done everything imaginable to this song. I thank you Marvin for this record and your life. Listening to this record makes life just a little more pleasant.

This is one of my favourite "marvin foolin' round in the studio" tunes. Maybe a little more polished and it would've been a hit at some point sometime.
