There's nothing Ukrainian about this- whatsoever. It's not enough just to present a song in your own language- if you butcher it with AMERICAN arrangement.
This is a travesty. Do you not enjoy your own real culture?
This is your culture rendered buffoonish- a 10th rate copy of American "soft rock" music- which is already shite to begin with.
Very nice video clip...anyone can learn and sing along...They say Ukrainian is most melodic in the world....this tune is clear proof...In Ukraine this was hit in 70s thanks to Trio Marenich...this version nice variation...sort of equal challenge to them across time...where are they now?
Hope you will post many more such germs...Bunch of this songs will very easy dismiss Moskow nazi and commi endless prayings that Ukrainian languige is not existent...
Thank you!! I learned the words to this song when Milla put out her CD and thought it was Russian(as her CD stated). I have spent years trying to find out what it meant other than its title "in a Glade". THANK YOU...mystery solved!

Ой у гаю при Дунаю
тужу самотою
Плачу, тужу, щепетую,
Милий, за тобою.
----------------------
what does "щепетую" mean?
jinshui56 9 months ago
@jinshui56
Плачу, тужу, "ще й ридаю"
або, як тут співають "ще й бідую"
