wondering why my AoEs don't have those circular slashing effects. when i do AoEs, it only shows my character's animation, i don't get those flashy circles.
better to have fun with a mob as to kill them with one hit .. like in metin2 or silkroad or whatever .. say what u want .. aion is since 3 months out and got 6.5m player .. wow is 4-5 years old and got only 11m .. and more and more player are changing to aion and u couldnt do something ...
Peeps don't understand the the low damage is stacked per mob. Just looks low but each mob gets hit 7 times somthing like that :) and they have high hitpoints. Every mob is diffrent

Wow he can kill mobs 20 levels lower than him. Show me something like in WoW where protection pallies could AoE 30 mobs at once that were his level and I will be impressed.

Well it seems that killing mobs is really slow in aion.
I mean in war or wow ah class 20 levels above mobs would destroy them in a few seconds...
Also if you look at fights with mobs of equal level you will see that it takes ages to kill them especially for classes with low damage output (templar, chanter...)
Hmm..I've just recently been lookin at this game..and I've seen some dual wielding glads doing more damage? Shouldnt she be doing more damage especially since they ARE 20 levels lower?
Nope, the way this game works, and I'm not sure why or how but I've noticed even when you're 10 levels higher than something, it takes almost the same speed to kill it as it did when you were it's level. The only difference is that you take almost 0 damage from it. In other words your damage stays around the same range while damage taken decreases over levels.
ok so is this meant to just show us the gladiator aoe's or something? :P cause i dotn think youd be able to do that with mobs your lvl xD atleast not alone
Have you just look the level? The monster are level 22 and he is level 42. At the same level, 3 monster own you normally. 2 Monster it's ok, but you have to regen after. This game is 10 time harder than all mmo I tried.
Trust me, complete opposite lolol. I wish that was true, i can't stand fighting the same mob for fucking 30 + seconds in this game. It's dreadful, but the game is soooo amazing that i overlook it.

anyone tried gladiator aoe groups seems like the aoe damage is pretty low wondering if its possible to actually drop some good dmg with them

perhaps using a weak weapon so the mobs dont die instantly, that way he doesnt have to run around and gather more mobs for the demo

god... pve is exactly the same in every single mmo. bunch of giant mobs attacking you for almost no damage. so glad this game is more pvpish.
