  • FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY

  • Hahaha

  • Boycott all Uganda products, services and tourism, until Uganadan gays are given human rights. Yes, I planned on visting Uganda, even expatriating; but not now since I've learned of your anti-christian, brutality towards gay Ugandans.

  • yeh but their prices for hotels etc are not african most expensive i ever seen,.yeh i should have checked ot out beofre going,.but it reminded me so much of damascus,..scarey,.

  • i expected electricity and soem more help to tourist,.i was totally on my own and no one to guide or advice me,.,.only rmember the huge olsmobile shopping at the nakumatt,.even so hard to get a taxi,.i left ther as fast as i could , it remineded me of dmascus,.,

  • @suirvale It's a country still under development, you should've expected that. I can't believe you expected the same treatment as in Europe capitals or American cities. Jesus, dude.

  • A few years ago, I wasn't even thinking about visiting Uganda. I wanted to go to Berlin and Vienna sooo badly! But after meeting an amazing Ugandan (Jamal ♥) now I can't waaaait to go there! The landscape and the animals..holy shit, I never knew they were all so beautiful!

That's it, I'll start saving money.

    P.S.

    I LOVE the accent!

  • IT WAS A BIG DISSIAPOINTMENT FOR ME,.so unhelpful to tourists ,. a cup of coffee takes 1/2 hour,.,.

  • @suirvale Well, no offense but we're talking about Uganda here, not New York or Vienna. It's still a country from Africa and no offense to African people, I like you and you're great and the landscape is beautiful...but seriously, what did you expect? 5 stars restaurants?

  • @MissLillith666 Clearly, you don't know much about Uganda or Ugandan culture.

  • @OliviaSBee I know it's not like in Berlin or Vienna.

  • @MissLillith666 In what way? The climate? The shops? The people? The wildlife? The industries? You should be more specific. Plus it's pretty hard to compare a whole country with a city.

Also - have you been to Berlin or Vienna? Stop talking like you know everything.

  • @OliviaSBee Yes, I have been to Vienna and actually spent a few days in the Austrian capital.I have a good friend in Berlin and plan to go there next year. I was talking about the industry, historical buildings and stuff like this. Are you saying that Uganda is the same with the European capitals? Hellooo, we're talking about a country from Africa! Isn't their lifestyle still based on agriculture and isn't Uganda made of mostly tribes?

  • @MissLillith666 Haha, you're doing it again - you haven't even been to Uganda and are telling me what it's like. I'm just saying you should stop assuming things about places you've never been to. Yes, almost all RURAL Ugandans rely on agriculture, however the majority of the population live in cities (granted, this documentary didn't really show much about Uganda's cities) Not all of Africa is like what you see isn't Disney films.

Also - Vienna IS the Austrian capital.

  • @OliviaSBee I know Vienna is Austria's capital.

"Yes, I have been to Vienna and actually spent a few days in the Austrian capital." - I wrote 'Austrian capital' because repeating "Vienna" twice in one sentence sounds stupid.

  • @MissLillith666 And as for the Vienna thing, I'm not going to have a petty argument over your bad grammar, but you DID give the impression that Vienna and Austria's capital are separate places, which of course they aren't.

  • @OliviaSBee My bad grammar? All I did was replace "Vienna" with "Austrian capital". Not my fault you didn't understand.

  • @MissLillith666 As I said, I'm not going to argue over something so small and petty.

  • @MissLillith666 (continued) And another thing - stop generalising African countries! They aren't all the same, and until you've been to one of them, stop acting like you understand modern-day African culture. Because based on your other comments on this video, you do not.

  • @OliviaSBee Jesus, all I said was that people should not expect the same treatment as in European countries. When someone here said "well, it took an hour to make a coffee and we had no tourist guides" I said that I can't believe someone went to an African country and expected MacDonald's, Ritz's, Hilton's, Best Western hotels and 6 stars restaurants. It's still an African country after all, right?

  • good.

  • Uganda gifted by nature. ındeed you are the pearl of Africa.

    I'm proud to be Ugandan!

  • Only been through the whole of Southern Africa but would love to go to Uganda sometime - hopefully in the next 2years or so - looks amazing!!

  • Great Memories!!! It is Still Home To Me and Will Always Be

  • I miss Uganda!!!!! I can't wait to visit again. Although I wish this doc showed more village life. Village life is still a huge part of Uganda.

  • Proud to be ugandan, home of nature

  • @qassim4 Great!

  • WONDERFUL DOCUMENTARY, HOME SWEAT HOME.

  • @mpigiful Home sweat home? LMAO! At least check your spelling before you post!

  • @MissLillith666 what do you mean, English is a second language , I am proud of my country what is wrong with that???????????????

  • @mpigiful I never said there's anything wrong with Uganda. I love the country, I've never been there but it looks amazing. What I said was that people shouldn't expect 5 stars restaurants, tour guides everywhere and luxury hotels on every corner. Right? I'm not being disrespectful, God no, but I'm saying people shouldn't expect the same treatment as in Europe capitals or American cities.
