we just heard the same sound. we live in the Ashland area. the dogs were barking and it started making that sound. had my wife come out on the deck and told the dogs to get em and they ran back to the same spot and it started again. of course with three kids in the house i could not find a flashlight. we called a friend next door and we walked down with his light and found nothing.
