My husband has ALWAYS wanted me to watch The Exorcist but i thought it would be boring! I am gonna give it a chance for you and my hubby! LOL! Also, I thought I was the only person in the world who liked Heavenly Creatures!! That movie is soooo creepy and good! (Also I kinda look like Melanie Linsky! Except chubbier and with less homicidal tendecies!)

If you are jusgt watching The Exorcist, it is slow moving at first. Lots of character building for the first hour or so. Then when you know everyone's motivations, THEN the freak outs start.

The first time I saw Melanie was in Ever After. She was my favorite character in the movie. :)

You are the best!!!horror movies are my fav!!! my friends get so scared tho. My mom said that in Argentina when the exorcist came out, people were passing out in theaters, my aunt got an anxiety attack and she almost fainted at the spider walking part. I never understood that since the took that part from the movie. But I got to see it not that long ago, yikes!! As a child, I used to go to bed with my cross, just in case ha-ha. I love the part in Romie & Michelle's High School Reunion where they leave when Christy jokes them & they come up with their sexy outfits & she still try joking them & the one girl who hung out w/them said she like the outfit since she was a fashion designer...& then the part I like is when Christy says "Well,I'm married to (the jock, can't remember his name)" & the designer says "That's right Christy, keep telling yourself that." I flipped out at that part & was like "Damn bitch you got owned".

Great list! There are a few that I haven't seen in a while, like the Wizard of Oz. My top ones are The Age of Innocence (beautiful book as well) and Finding Nemo:) I love older movies too. Auntie Mame is a favorite and Audrey Hepburn flicks (thanks to my mom). Oh! and Exorcist III scares me every time...I remember seeing this in highschool in the movie theater...I screamed my head off:) Great post, thank you! Need to watch Alien again...it's been a couple of years...

i love romy and michelle too..lol it's hilarious, i love the time after time scene as well, auntie mame, my grandmother and i used to watch, that and imitation of ife have you ever seen that one? oh geez the exorcist scarred me for life when i was about 4 years old. i remember walking into the room while it was on and it was the scene where she is in bed with her eyes rolling up in the air..i ran upstairs and hid under the bed on that one! lol. all great movies though, now i must make one..:]
