I think they make a good point about using the bailout money to pay off people's mortgages. But then again, I bet a lot of people would complain that poor people shouldn't be allowed to get their mortgage paid off for their large house. Even if it was not a large house, I bet people would feel as if it was unfair to help those "less deserving".

That is what we should fear, the division which makes common people fight amongst each other.

If you can walk through a mall and it is not mostly empty stores and for lease signs, then the economy is still fine for the most part.
