its so sad that eaven in this epic an most beautiful movie I have recently seen in a long time even here at the end is the christian sentence .. today let the old gods live again, and then the girlfriend from the young prince with head covered as a non continues ... no today the old gods die with them .... sad ... no religion can be above another ..because tho point is to love to love yourself to love others ... and wariors from north peagans were the same as the holy christian crusaders

@thekjub, that particular film took the modern apporach that can be seen later on Narnia & LOTR. It proposed the transition from the Pagan to The Christian World.In a way, that is the way the old Nordic Religion Could have wanted it, mournful but as respectful as possible. The magic of the Old Pgan Noedic religon died with the passage of time and the chages in the World. Ironically Christan Religion that relaced it, died or fell aout of favor too later the same way.

Brunchilda was one of the 19 valkyries, In the time of peace she had bath in Earth Lake and she changed into a real woman, Some king stole her feather and she couldn't change into the Valkyrie again. Until Siegfried who helped her, but she remained a real woman, and stayed in Valhalla forever , and she had to welcome fallen warriors who come to Valhalla. That's what Nordic Mythology says about it. And This movie was great!
