It's just rediculous. Both of those world titles are being passed around like joints anymore,and that kills the prestige of them. And it's always with the same few people, HHH,Randy Orton, Edge, John Cena,Batista,Chris Jericho. And Money in the Bank devalues the titles even further because nobody who wins that,wins the title the honest way. The only one who did honestly and set a date for a match was RVD.

He won the WWE at Royal Rumble 2009, defeating Jeff, then lost it to Hunter at The Elimination Chamber, then won the World Heavweight Championship the same night, then lost it at WrestleMania 25. He then defeated Cena a few months later. 3 World titles within a matter of months.

You said that the Rock shouldn't be such a multiple time champion, but I would argue that he is more worthy of it than Edge because of his mainstream popularity. However, NOBODY should be holding that many belts in such a short period.
And another thing - the WWE should get rid of the (WCW) World Heavyweight Title and just go back to one world belt - the WWE belt, with no more than 1 or 2 title changes every year.

Edge is a 9 time world champion. How many of them did he lose to Cena? I think 3 maybe. You can't blame Cena for his short title reigns when he lost 6 world titles to other people: he lost a title to C.M. Punk, lost two to Jeff Hardy, lost one to the Undertaker, lost one to an elimination chamber elimination (Jeff Hardy) and had to vacate another one.
Yes, but you can't deny that cena has ruined WWE as of late, more specifically Raw. Raw is doomed now that cena is champion again, the only thing going for it is DX.

edge may be a multiple world champion, but half to more than half of those title reigns were tainted because of the Smackdown GM (a.k.a - his ex-wife) and the Money in the Bank.

Its hard to complain to much about Edge when took him damn near 10 years to become a main-eventer. I think WWE is just given Edge his time, Edge is one of the few 4 - 7 active WWE wrestlers who been with the company for more than 10 years, but still had Cena, Batista, Orton, Lensar, Jericho and I can name more win world titles before him, this is just like the HHH era when he kep winning the world titles.

I don't see the problem. Edge is doing his job, and if you can get marks and smarks to hate the character's habit of stealing a title, then that's a job well done. Talent is talent, no matter how many times you win the title a month. It's his character, and the psychology ought to still be supported.

The complete devaluation of all WWE titles is largely down to the 2002 brand split which meant that two of each type/level of belt except for Cruiserweight got made, even including women's eventually. Then came ECW to add ANOTHER belt...
One could also blame the change to monthly pay-per-views in 1995 to an extent, but for the first few years of that there were only a few World and Intercontinental title changes.

Edge is a 9 time world champion. How many of them did he lose to Cena? I think 3 maybe. You can't blame Cena for his short title reigns when he lost 6 world titles to other people: he lost a title to C.M. Punk, lost two to Jeff Hardy, lost one to the Undertaker, lost one to an elimination chamber elimination (Jeff Hardy) and had to vacate another one.

wwe really has to stop making him lose the titles within 3 weeks, if wwe would stop doing that he would be a 5 time world champion right now because first he wins the title keeps it for at most 4 weeks and then loses it at the next pay per view, which is really predictable , nobody should know when edge is gonna be champion again, but with wwe's crapy creative team as soon as he loses the title when im watching the ppv's i always say oh well he'll get it back in a few weeks.

edge may be a multiple world champion, but half to more than half of those title reigns were tainted because of the Smackdown GM (a.k.a - his ex-wife) and the Money in the Bank.
But putting that all aside, Edge seemed to be better as a face. He was funny, and possibly better than he is now.
Basicly what i am saying is that, Edge was better in the past than he was now. Back than (i heard what u were saying about the Attitude Era), he was a multiple time Tag Champion and an IC Champion

also, Cena has lost a ton of matches since 2008, which is another thing fans were complaining about.

i think that edge is a very good performer. he has charisma, solid fan base, and a good wreslter, but 8 time in 37 months, and he is now a 9 time because he just won it last sunday. 9 time champion and he has only been in the company for what 11 - 12 years, but undertaker whos been in the comapny for 19 years is only a 6 time champion thats stupid.....p.s please excuse my username it is old!

Um I got sum bad news man, but theres rumors that at a WWE live event that Edge is going to be wrestling the Undertaker for the world title with Edge being the champion again sumtime in May, so I quess we'll be expecting Edge to be a 9 time world champion, now I'm a big fan of Edge and I love it everytime that wins the world title but I'm sick of WWE giving him a 3 week title run, his 1st title reign was 3 weeks, his 2nd was for a couple of months and so was his 3rd and 4th, WWE r fuckin up.

Its hard to complain to much about Edge when took him damn near 10 years to become a main-eventer. HHH has been main-eventer for over ten years and he only puts over his close friends or guys he can't touch(Cena&Undertaker) everybody else is below him in his eyes because of his backstage power and relationship with Vince and Stephanie. Golden Age: Hogan = over 4 years as champion
Surprisingly even though Hogan's and Rock's championship reigns were greatly different, Hogan is a 12 time world champion(6 time WWF & 6 time WCW) while the Rock is a 9 time world champion( 7 time WWE & 2 time WCW)

I think WWE is just given Edge his time, Edge is one of the few 4 - 7 active WWE wrestlers who been with the company for more than 10 years, but still had Cena, Batista, Orton, Lensar, Jericho and I can name more win world titles before him, this is just like the HHH era when he kep winning the world titles.

i know where u comin from i think edge is great but 8 time heavyweight champion of the world in just over three years. Also think about the injury time he has had. 4months form jul - nov he was out in 2007 and in 08 aug - nov another 3 months, whos to say he cudnt have won more during that tym if he hadnt been injured.

The Tag Team Division was at its best during the attitude era and the feuds for the "WWF" title were the best they didn't just hand The Rock the title his feud with Mankind was brutal and was great to watch and what bout Austin vs Mcmahon, vs Taker, vs Rock and even HHH vs Rock. I don't see the problem. Edge is doing his job, and if you can get marks and smarks to hate the character's habit of stealing a title, then that's a job well done. Talent is talent, no matter how many times you win the title a month. It's his character, and the psychology ought to still be supported.
