You mean Network Music and DeWolfe music? People have been searching them for months... some has been found, some has not (i.e. EarthWatch music from '97/'98 and the tropical music have not yet been found).
Yes, we have located the music. Its wonderful, lol. This item will be re-recorded with some updated stuff and the good quality music in the near future.
Everything from 1998 has been found with a few exceptions such as EarthWatch. 2 out of the 3 tropical weekend tunes have been found so far (2min, 2min sponsored, but no 2:30 yet).
this is so cool ...... im just wondering why u were recording the weather network way back in 97 on jan 17 .... i was prob out skating at landsbary park lol
weatheroffice seems to know a fare bit about this, I think he is even a meteorologist, we need to discuss this with him! I think i'll write him a message.
Most of th LF music during the 90's were from Network Music and DeWolfe Music libraries. TWN has stopped using Network music tracks for their segments around 1999/2000 but DeWolfe tracks are still being heard on TWN today
omg this is also my favourite tune from TWN well that and the halloween tune that they did in 96 for the local forecast im still trying to find if anyone has video of it, anyways any chance of geting this music from you?.

At the beginning of this one, where did you get that flashy sunny icon thing?
WeatherNetworkDude 3 years ago
TWN used the WS4000 sunny current conditions icon for he LF opener

No, but it looked fairly similar. The sun was a more stylized sun.

How old is this music? I remember it playing on the Weekend Report once upon a time, but I can't remember exactly when.

It's from the Late 1997/ Early 1998 season.

Ahh, and then in the summer of '98 they played the tropical music on the Weekend Report, or was that the summer of '97?
missliss312 4 years ago
This music has been found in a library! Almost all of the 98 music will be on it's way to being found soon!
