I sorta wish you could re-fit your X-wing with missiles instead of torpedoes like in Tie Fighter, I guess that's what makes it a lot more challenging huh? :)

Yeah. You could in the later games (XvT and XW:A) but not the first. Also, if you notice, in this game the TIE Bombers carry both Concussion missiles and torpedoes (as they should), but in TIE Fighter you could only carry one type of warhead. I wonder why when the Missile Boat had both missiles and the chosen type of warhead.
