I used to hate black metal.But as I got older I grew to love it. Its historically pagan culture rebelling against the people who came in and said thier culture is shit and forced a replacement on to them. And its about playing as fast and hard as you can. Its has elements of hardcore in it so its more dynamic than some people make it out to be.

i know im probly wrong but it seemed like when euronymous was in the band he was all about keeping the recording all raw and not good. its as if he held the band back a little. now when blasphemer and maniac came in and recorded wolf's layer abyss and chimera the recording was great. plus i dont think euronymous would like the band being filmed live cause he probly would have thought that was to commercial according to his interview on the phone cause thats what it sounded like. but thats me :/
