@0acezero0 lol i guess it's just a part of performances of this game where it isn't supposed to hit. And the reason why enemy aircraft are so hard to be destroyed even by missiles is because this is a tutorial mode in which enemy cannot be killed until you reach at a certain location.

you don't need to worry about Ace Combat too much since it is not like HAWX2 ;)

And i think the location the enemy will move to will not be fixed in a real mission. it would be only on the tutorial mode. And if enemies will be so cleaver that when you are in a dogfight mode they would try to run away from you but also trying to make you crash somewere by heading to a bulding or tower for the purpose, the enemy AI are badass! =)

@PsychedelicHeavy They were all like this with the exception of chase cam, the three on PS2 were the best (AC4, AC5 and AC Zero). AC4 is my favorite and the series took a nose dive after AC4 ( crappy voice actors and over dramatic stories).

Ace Combat 3 Jpn version is also fantastic, it includes a lot of decision making missions that change the outcome of the game

If the controls are novice forced OR if I can't dogfight without all those assisting modes, Bai AC. I want expert mode, a campaign where ACE mode is NOT easy mode and I dont want my plane holding 60+ missiles on ACE difficulty. Those are important but secondary, however I seriously hope the novice mode is not forced, else i'm not getting it.

Well, the whole scenery is indeed pretty much intensive and epic. Gives a totally new feeling of the all so boring "lock on and fire missiles from miles away" we know from countless other games. The music is doing the rest (awesome!!!). BUUUUUT playing the game all the time with this dog fight mode seems a bit simple and easy.

This "press LB + RB" message....what happens when you are not doing this? Can you dog fightin' the "old" way then?

i think you can initiate the dogfight in cockpit mode cause im the same with any ace combat game ....it has to be done realisticaly and thus i choose the cockpit veiw even hawx was alright so far cause it has that veiw aswell and seems like a fun game (ish playing it now)
