Great video of a magnificent loco. Any idea how old it is? And the scenery for each of your shots was great too. Gives us Brits some idea of America's great open spaces! Living on an island we're a bit short of land!! Where were the sequences shot?

SP #4449 was built in 1942, making her about 67 years old.

The engine was built in 1941 and i am trying to remember where i shot this footage, in all of the trip i shot over 6 hours of footage and these was one of the tapes i didn't bother to label, i want to i shot this between Whitefish Montana and Minot North Dakota, also you can find more info on the 4449 is you search SP4449 on wikipedia.
