Sorry the delay !

There two Autopliot modes:

with camera up to 5 meters

without camera there is no limit in altitude, but the helcopter tend to drift a bit, specially with winds, only drifts OK, the Helicommand don't have positioning fix

I really like where you have your helicommand mounted. Did you buy that mount somewhere, or did you make it yourself from plastic or aluminum angle iron?

In this video I mounted using the original plastic support, just fixed in the ESP receiver mount, easy...easy.

Litle diferences, but I trust more in the Helicommand quality ( Germany vs China...nothing more to say heheh)

Is this helicommand act as like an auto-hover? The ship flies very well, but is it because you have it trimmed out really well, or is it the helicommand?

Hello,

It is the Helicommand that control the helicopter, is the autopilot mode, works well in most cases, help a lot to beginners.

In this 600's i'm using the internal gyro, I like...but is not easy to setup, if you try to setup same as others will not work correctly.

My friend at the local RC shop put it this way: How many crashes does it take to offset the cost of the HeliCommand thing? And how many novice heli pilots quit out of frustration? I believe that it is a great training aid and I'm going to order one.

Good move, but first take a look to the FLYMENTOR, is a chinese copy ( by KDS), cost U$S 100.00 and work well, take a look into my channel, I have one video with this unit...

I think this kind of stabilizers/autopilots can help a bunch of people to loose his fears, even a few ones that just have fear to fly, even when they already fly...

my 600 flies that stable stock, no need for that HeliCommand thing !

Yes...you are right...the stock 600 ( like any rc heli with a good setup) is stable...but no matter how stable your heli is, you can not take the hands of the control for more than 2-3 seconds, after this lilte time your heli tend to "travel" to one side acelerating until the "crash", here is where this "helicommand thing" work, and work well !!

Some people have fear to fly without assistance, this is not a stupid things at all, if can help to those have not good skills THIS IS A GOOD THING !!!.

Another good reason if you have a expensive scale helicopter or prepared to take aerial pictures or movies.The owner of this heli put so high that almost can not see, and here this stupid thing take control of the machine, he fly this way for two years and never crashed, even when the motor stop at 500 meters high.

Como vç ta vendo estou fazendo muitos testes com Helicommand em todas as versões ( 3A, 3D e Rigid ) dependendo do modelo ( 3A e o mais barato) deU$S 550.00 a U$S 650.00.

Recomendo a versão RIGID ( mais caro) pois tem todas as funções do 3A e 3D plus serve pra helicopteros sem flybar tambem.
