the best muscle car out there in my opinion. 70 was the last yr of the ls6 rat. I have a 72 that i have been working on for yrs now. and im trying to do it on how I think the car should have been... nice car man hold on to it

Chevelles are bad ass muscle cars they're not my favorite but i would like to own one. i like how the engine bay is big just like a camaros engine bay... i look the 70's-72 chevelles they have a cool looking body style. plus there grilles are awesome looking, it looks like teeth and the lights on the side looks like eyes, i think there the meanest looking muscle cars ever!!

so you could alr tell me, what's the difference between small and large blocks ?

small blocks are like more daily driver kind of V8's that are light'r weight then a Big block, when it comes to a quartermile bigblocks own the road... but they also suck down 5 gallons a minute... If you drop a big block in a small block car, usually the suspension is thrown off because the big block is about 200 lbs heavier.... ( all this is from what i understand... im 90% sure about it all)

oh and btw, how long distance can u travel with 1 full tank with car like this b4 u have to fill it again ? Its like 900 miles on my car, something tells me this car wont have more like 100 tho :D

if you get 900 miles off a tank.. avrage like 15 gallons... then you have some fuckin hybrid getting 60 mpg... ... on average i would say cars get 15-20 mpg.. a big block 454 would prolly get 9-10 mpg.. its like driving a hummer...

my car eats about 4l for 100km, that's like 1 gallon for 65miles, its skoda octavia you can look it up, its european (czech car) and one of the most fuel saving cars with decent power well 81kW. tho gas tank has 50litres = about 14 gallons or w/e...

you can find a clean malibu of that vintage for 3500 to 7500 another route is find an El Camino which is basicly a chevelle with a pickup bed which is about 500 to 1000 dollars less and your parents wont freak out be cause you bought a muscle car the insurance wont be as much either

Oh yeah i know, ive seen them on Craigslist, but i dont want a Malibu (not much of a diff but i cant help it), and ive seen some sick Caminos but i dont want the pick up part.

Oh and my parents are alright with me gettin a muscle car, long as it runs though, and im gonna wait till im 18 so the insurance wont be as high.

I'll be honest. I'm not an automotive person, cars are nothing to me but when it comes to the 1970's Chevelle, there is nothing finer. Muscle, power, beauty and respect all rolled into one kick-ass asphalt eater. She's one mighty fine beast. You should be very proud.

me and my pops got a '73 datsun 240z, were gunnna rebuild the 350 and either bore it or supercharge it. in the end it will have over 400 hp :P...weve got a differential out of a '91 300z.
