  • amazing how only 4 are still on the team i still think Jaquin Iglesias could of been good

  • We stilll have DJ. Moore, Henry Melton, Johnny Knox and Lance Louis from this draft.....

  • if we draft a good saftey and one more linemen we will have a huge turn around. Martz is going to utilize our weapons on offense our recievers are gonna look really good this year, and forte is gonna look like marshall faulk did in the greatest show on turf

  • i love our players all around. jay, the only reason he played like he did was our recievers were young but they're starting to catch on. im excited to see them develope and carry us. if our d can stay healthy, our o line block well, we will win the superbowl next year. no doubt

  • the bears finally got a team goin. they stepped up n they may have a great wr team in the near future. they should utilize these new wr n let hester just do returns. hes a great player but not a sure catch. let him do wat he does best. as for there up coming defense. they already have a good line up, but the guys they got are beast. the have potential to just destroy any other team. i cant wait to watch the upcoming season .......... Daaaa BEARS

  • knox ... wr .... is a beast .... hes a fast mother fckr n has hands of gold

  • he is fast but he didnt run a 4.2 on his official 40,that one was hand timed, but 4.34 is still fast as fuck tho.

  • I agree Hester should just return no recieving I think we have more than enough tools at reciever to help cutler

  • i just like the dolphins cause they got davis cb go windy city

  • I know he is from illinois and he is going to be good

  • This was an awesome draft considering where we were drafting at. The only player i really didnt like was Henry Melton. You probably could have selected him a round later. I wish they would have moved up to get Everette Brown when he really started to fall. But i think we got some steals in Gilbert, Iggy, Moore and Freeman. Lots of good STs players too.

  • Dont forget Knox hes gonna be a big surprise

  • I predict Greg Olsen leads the league in TE receptions the year.

  • i like there draft i mean iglesis is good and with the other speedy wide out they will be pretty set hester and the other speedy guy frm albeline can be number 2 reciever alternating between the 2 but thats the only solid reciever position i think we have we have no solid number 1 iglesis can be number 3 at best but no1 can be number 1 or 4 but you never know what the season will bring so i say dont count out any of the revievers any1 can be break out recievers

  • Not a fan of Bennett? I think either Bennett or Rideau will be starting opposite of Hester. Davis back as a slot receiver with Iggy and Knox getting some snaps here and there.

  • well u no wat im not sure about bennett yet imean i hope that since he already has chemistry with cutler that he can be a productive reciever but i cant call it yet.....but i have no doubt that if we could go 9-7 with a pretty good qb and a subpar recieving core and a pretty bad line a basic over all slipping team i think that if they can gel as a team then i think it is pretty much a given that NFC champs and if we have a true number 1 wr then we can go all the way

  • I wouldnt say its a given but its a possibility for sure.

  • considering we didnt have a first or second round pick we did fucking great.....i think we got a real steal in jarron gilbert i mean watch some tape of him hes a fucking monster i do like henry melton even tho some dont i think weve got the speed

  • I do think our draft was great considering where our picks were at. ive seen Gilbert and he has massive potential. Mel Kiper thinks hes the sleeper of this draft. I just dont like Melton.

  • watch johnny knox tear it up hes faster than hester thats fast

  • lol idk about that...but i dont doubt he's fast as hell...

  • i really think that jarron gillbert could be the best draft pick for the bears, if u see the way he powers past the OL he'll get loads of sacks

  • instant classic has no idea what hes talkin about lol prolly doesnt even know the game of football

, iglesias wont even be a starter if anybody will start it will be jarron gilbert at noseguard or tackle the bears are picky about their recievers even tho they have very little potential at the reciver position. kinda like the qb situatuatuin a couple of years ago when grossman was starting, he was horrible but they still started him.

  • I dont see the point in you insults the guy for his opinion. Just makes you look like the moron. The fact that you compared Grossmans situation to our WR situation is moronic itself. If anyone has a shot at starting its Iggy. Gilbert will be in a rotation with the rest of the DTs. Adams really started to come on late last season and the coaching staff is in love with Dusty. But honestly, i dont see any rookie starting. Many will get their reps though.

  • They only drafted 1 potential startersout of this group Juaquin Iglesias

  • Im not into smart mouth players but maybe thats what the bears need. Isnt Marvin out there still?

  • Marvin Harrison is 2 old and injury prone for us to waste our money on him.

  • awessome vid man.

  • hell yea we need plax

  • i think marcus freeman was a good ass pick and all the defensive players are badass and iglesius is a playmaker

  • who is singing?

  • lifeless by 12 stones

  • BY THE WAY WE GOT TINOISAMOA!!!!

  • I would give the bears an A- on their draft. I have been watching the draft for many years and I believe that Jerry Angelo once again did a great job of finding late round talent! Jarron Gilbert is by far their best pick. Marcus Freeman is HIGHLY underrated and Johnny Knox has a lot more than just speed. AL Afalava will smash the shit out of u! D.J. Moore is simply a playmaker.. i think iglesias was a stretch but we needed reciever sooo bad that it was the right move to get a possession guy.

  • you think iglesias was a stretch? Idk i think that he will do well with cutler throwing to him and he was already a good WR in Oklahoma he'll be fine

  • I say he's a stretch because he's a good possession reciever but i dont think he will ever be more than a number 3 or 4 reciever on the depth chart (TALENT WISE). I am a bears fan so i wish him the best and I hope he has a great yr for us. I do believe that we would benefit greatly from a Veteran reciever... hopefully plaxico burress will get things straightened out with the court system because thats exactly the type of player we need.

  • Im a bears fan myself and i think that he could be a good 3 reciever and he can do well but i agree it wouldn't hurt to have Plaxico Burress. lol

  • Hey, well as of today if Bears work it together, we could have a Cutler/Marshall reunion. But I don't know if the Bears would want to deal with a smartmouth WR.

  • Mannnn thats exactly what we need! A big physical reciever in Brandon Marshall but like you said, he has off field issues.. As much as a love his talent I would probably stay away from him. Last I heard he has been arrested in 4 different states for battery..

  • we couldnt even get them if we wanted we dont have the money for him

  • I think the Bears ddi an "AWESOME JOB" with the picks they had. And giving up 2 1st rd picks fro Cutler was well worth it.

Knox did run an unofficial 4.25. Raiders suck man not a fan of them but geeze, they could have gotten a great reciever later and adressed another position, lol like QB :-P

Go Bears.....2009 NFC Champs to be.

  • i've been a bears fan since back in the Jim Miller days...and i must say im pretty excited about this year. i think we did the best with what we had in the draft...although I still question why we didnt grab massaquoi when he was available at our 2nd round pick

  • the bears wont have a receiver over 6'3 i wonder how this is goin to work out for cutler with greg olsen bein his biggest target the offense has to be fast next year

  • i think the bears did great with what they had. i love the D.J Moore pick, he slipped way past the 1st to 2nd round projection

  • AFALAVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Good draft. I came to the Bears fanclub after the Cutler trade. We could use a good veteran WR. Boldin, Burress or Ochocinco. Go BEARS!!!

  • GO BEARS!

  • Melton may be the biggest sleeper.Very fast for his size. could be olb/de or move to fullback on shortyardage. These guys push all the d-linemen to get it going or your gone.Great draft for bears

  • i agree with u on dj im a die hard vandy fan and i hated to c him go early cause hes a beast but im glad he went to the bears with other vandy players(jay cutler,dj moore, hunter hilimaier, and earl bennett, and 2 linemen)and yea hes gunna b a beast n tha pros

  • yea, i mean considering the deal we had to go through for cutler, i'm happy with the draft.

  • melton is the only pick i didnt get

  • derek kinder was a good receiver for pitt, just too bad they were a run-first offense. i went to high school with kinder and know what he can do on the field

  • I like what the bears did in the draft. Even though we didn't have any day one picks, I think we got a few steals in the later rounds. DE Jarron Gilbert will bring versatility to the line (can play inside/outside), WR Juaquin Iglesais can be the third receiver on the team, and CB D.J. Moore can be the third or fourth corner on the team. Don't be surprised if LB Marcus Freeman will win the LOLB spot. He got all the physical tools and can be a good linebacker.

  • our day 1 pick is cutler!

  • i seriously hope Freeman takes over LOLB

I dont like roach or hillenmeyer

  • i couldn't agree with you more lol
