Gr8 idea, cant wait to see the boats and the finished product, think the blank tile would be better in the middle giving room for a big mash up of troops in the middle, I have done 40k twice and quit it twice, thinking of getting back into it, I would love to sort of pinch that idea for a board if I get round to making it, although might go for a more jungle look as I will be collecting just Kroot me thinks and have a completely Kroot army, with custom HQ's n blah, good luck with board anyways.
