Its not ok for humans to eat turkey but its perfectly ok for other animals to kill them and then eat them? This is why vegan ethics are so backwards. You idiots care more about dumb animals then starving children. Pathetic.
@jimmullett Well, our reasonable discussion is off to a great start with you calling me an 'idiot' and 'pathetic.' If I'm so clearly wrong, why is it necessary to bolster your argument with ad hominem attacks? Sounds like you're more conflicted than you'd like to be.
@RawFoodFreedom The point is that I don't care about lab rats or protesting for thier freedom naked like ppl form peta. I care more about human children than turkeys.
@jimmullett Nobody is doubting that you care about human children. You can care about children AND turkeys. There is no conflict. Children (and adults) are better off not eating turkeys, and turkeys are better off not being eaten. Everybody wins!
@jimmullett Humans are not obligate carnivores. This is not a debated issue. Since we are a) not biologically obligated to eat animals, and b) thinking, reasoning creatures (unlike EVERY OTHER ANIMAL), we have an ethical imperative to live as compassionately as possible.
Most children are starving because of widespread meat and dairy consumption. Look it up, bro. World hunger could quickly be solved if we ate the plants we're feeding to animals, which is highly inefficient.
@RawFoodFreedom My point is that a lot of vegans think that killing animals is murder and unethical but its ok for lions to kill animals. Obligate carnivores or not, its still murder according to vegan ethics. Thats a cop out statement to justify animals eating each other. Children are far more important than protesting for the ethical treatment of lab mice.
@jimmullett Lions (not to mention all other animals besides humans) can't be held to ethical standards, Jim. They have not developed a consciousness that can make ethical decisions. They act on instinct and seek out survival and have little/no capacity for self-reflection. I speak on the assumption that most people can hopefully demonstrate that they CAN self-reflect and make choices beyond their survival drives.
@jimmullett Also, not sure where you're pulling this whole 'children > animals' thing. Did I say anything about not valuing human life? Part of what's so cool about eating vegan is that it's good for everyone - people, animals, planet.
when i used to eat i meat i comforted myself by saying "when my time comes to lay down my life to be cow or chicken feed, i'll go willingly"...now my plan is to save more creatures than i ever consumed...rock on josh !
Your compassion just really warmed my heart. Aren't they peacocks or pheasants though? I just went to wiki to research but gave up after 5 minutes, haha. Anyhow, beautiful video!!
@StopmeatGoveg dude raw turkey is a total longevity food. and eating salmonella doesn't make you sick, it increases your jing and makes you more robust.
@videobenji only if you eat it with colostrum blended with cacao and mushrooms that orbited the sun and crash landed on earth. but i'm sure you already knew that. everyone knows that. duh!
They want to live! YES!!!

@natureasintended Definitely not peacocks, I think they're wild turkeys. I'm not an ornithologist though.
