Watch the video when Isiah is being cross examined. The attorney interjects race. Isiah doesn't. All Isiah said was that it's not as offensive; it's offensive, just not as offensive when a white guy calls a black woman a female dog. Why? Because historically black people have been depicted and treated as animals by white people. One of the reasons for slavery is that white people thought blacks were monkeys and animals. A female dog is an animal. This is why Isiah makes the distinction.

So if you can blame Isiah Thomas for anything, it's knowing and understanding his history. Now, when a male (in general) refers to a woman as a female dog, he's referring to an attitude. Just like when a women call males dogs, they are referring to our desire to chase women. Well what do women chase? Money. Women love money the way men love women. If a male is a dog, a female must be a female dog. See how easy that is?

Isiah Thomas didn't do that. Look at his wife and look at Anucha Browne Sanders. Come on man, you have eyes! She looks like a man in a dress. Why would Thomas risk his career and reputation when he has a beautiful wife at home and has NEVER been accused of anything like this before? He's not that stupid. And if you have eyes, you can see he's not into Riddick Bowe in a dress.

very good point thehoqnias. I don't know where he learned that it's okay for a black man to call ANY woman a "bitch" I've had friends who are black and they are the most well mannered, respectful individuals I've known. They respect their moms, aunts and sisters, so to hear Isaiah say something like that paints a picture of his true character as an individual. I feel sorry for him. He's ruined the Knicks and embarrassed the city of NY, and he made a fool of himself

It's kind of sad that people would believe the female's side even if they don't know the whole story. The case was a whole bunch of he said, she said. On another note, Isiah should have been fired a long time ago as the GM, but he at least earned the right to coach the Knicks for a second season.
