i agree that they play very sloppy live, but the show is so much better! i rather watch them fooling around drunk and playing good enough to recognise the songs than see them standing still trying to play as accurate as they can. you can't judge their live show by watching videos on youtube.

Yngwie and Becker are both awesome guitarists and Becker did some unbelievable NON Shredding work, check out AIR from Perpetual Burn. So long as in we're in agreement that these two clowns in dragonforce are pretty awful, then its okay.

dont know whether anyone has noticed before but like, the main reasons they have gotten so much better live are 1. they get drunk whiulst playing. not before and 2. they Wear earpieces to keep themselves in time with each other. that was their main problem now its sorted. :D

Man. Watch one of their live videos from 2007, and then watch a live video from late 08 or 09, and be blown away. They've improved so much. Still have a ways to go, but they're still fuckin awesome and that's 10 times better than I could ever do. By the way, did Sam stop drinking on stage? Sure looks like it.

I think he gets taller when he's not shit-faced too. I met them once in 07, and before the show when he was sober, he was almost as tall as I was. Then after the show, he was totally drunk and a good 2 heads shorter than me. That might have been from the fat slut that was hanging onto him that he'd just fucked in the tour bus, but who knows?
