The only authentic Coach bags were the ones that were once made in the USA. Instead of buying Coach bags made in China (read your label inside your bag) try buying Hayden Harnett bags that are made in the USA in NY.
i just bought a second hand coach online, it's a wristlet like your first feature but it has stitching up in middle on BOTH sides. is this still authentic??
Did you know that many times Coach purses sold at the outlet are not the same as the ones sold at the Department stores such as Macys or the Regular Coach store? If you look at the serial number and you see the letter "F" to the right of the Dash line (-), its from th outlet. You still have the same guarantee. By the way, I lost one of my hanging COACH tags and I called the company and they sent me a new one without charge.

I also heard that they put some new bags in the outlets to see how well they sell...and if people by enough of them, then they put it in the actually stores. Is this true?

You forgot that Coach uses YKK zippers and that the "C" meets up on the edges. Also Coach is now made in Vietnam and India. :)
