  • ermmm....this was good but exactly the same skit as in the australian version..

this is like the third one i've seen that is the same...

Don't they have any ideas of their own??

  • Pure genius!

  • This is way too funny. I've seen the original Australian sketch but Rufus Hound is just far quicker than that Newton bloke and gets so many great lines in. It's like he was made purely for this!

  • god this guy is so quick witted

  • "Would you like to be invisible? Face that way."

  • They ripped the entire scenario off of the Australian one. Still pretty funny though

  • @Thrashead666 Well, they copied the premise of the scene, but since the premise of the show is to improvise, that's not of great importance.

  • Trust me girl, I ain't acting. I is hard. ROFL!

  • hes amazing :) x

  • @13poopstick Ahh yes. Steven. That very unique name.

  • Thanks for uploading

  • Why dont they make more of this

  • Do you need us to call you an ambulance!

No Girl, I'm bullet proof ! loooooooooooooool!

  • for the first time, i can admit that this was better than the aussie version, just cause its easier to laugh at a chav haha

  • Maybe he has I don't know but Rufus should do more improv. Quit doing Argumental and do this. Actual scenes with actors. I LIKE!

  • @Kpvker I wishhh. Argumental is still great though. Shame this series lost out after only a series.

  • Sorry guys, but Matt Newton was the funniest by far

  • @lukeyboy123able - Nah..

  • @lukeyboy123able are you serious Rufus is way better!

  • Man, this is really good...

  • Rufus did this scene better definately. Irregardless of who looked more comfortable in the scene Rufus pulled out better lines than Matthew.

The British version pales in comparison to the Aussie version, but this is one example where the British version did it better. In my opinion :)

  • Listen bruv.....calm down hahahaah

  • I think this version suffered from the ensemble actors not really responding to what the actors were saying, and sticking to the script too closely. Both versions were funny, but the Australian one just gets it because the ensemble actors improvised alongside the cast more.

  • EPIC! haha

  • this was funny, but i think they should make upthere on instead of use\ing australians one it makes it boring, sorry guys

  • This is really good about you know, this could be use as a performing arts exercise.

  • Last bits the funniest! "Alright Dad" lmao rusus is great!

  • Rufus totally pre-empted every bit of interrogation with classsss.

  • Brilliant

  • People who can improvise like this are genius

  • So weird to watch now, and it's like he's channeling Dappy!

  • I think both are funny in different ways but the australian version of this is still better

  • This is the best thing I've ever seen him do, and I love Rufus Hound so thats saying something

  • HAHAHA he says the jokes lyk he thought of them a day ago! awesome job

  • this is hilarious the best of the series

  • that was fuckin awesome the australian ones dont even make me smile i was laughing for this one

  • Ali G was ahead of the wave.

  • Rufus is on fire!

  • "dya know somfin i dont like olives....

    im still tastin it "

  • I loved this show, shame ITV didn't carry on with it - perhaps Dave could re-commission it?

  • lool bullet proof..

  • Rufus owns on this, though thats nothing new on his part.

  • @MrUnknown07 the others had a rough script, he was the only one improvisin everything

  • @LuciferSpiro1993 i know hes improvising! Hes a legend!

  • Wasn't a great show, but I have to say the actors usually did really well to cope.

  • "What do you people live like? I WAS RACIN' THE CAR!!!!"

    8-)

    Classic

  • that was GENIUS!!!

  • innit blad!

  • best ever! hahahah

  • Funniest thing EVER.

"Would you like to be invisible?"

    No answer.

    "Turn that way!"

Thing is, I just admire how cooly Rufus Hound went through it, it was like he'd done something like it before! (Probably has, but I dunno really :P) Anyway, thanks for uploading :D

  • :D love this

    "injury lawyers 4 u

theyr injury lawyers i was calling them 4 u"

    "hellow stevie"

    "yalryt dad"

    lol

    they should make another series

    thanks for uploading (:

    x

  • Hahahaahaha!!

    EPIC

  • this guy was funnier but the background actors are better in the aussie version

  • Comment removed

  • "Hellow dad"

    such a great answer.

  • 'right dad. :P

  • not ripped off, "sold for vast sum of money"

  • UMM NO ONE CARES COS WE'RE FUNNIER

  • hes sooooo funny, such a natural at it.

    (=

  • He's a better chav than some of my chav friends...

  • "listen brov, calm down" love that line, this made me laugh so much,

  • "Thought it was some other mug. Thought it was you!"

    Instant fucking classic.

  • This guys hilarious.

"you know something, i dont like olives" haha.

  • WTF

  • oprah done one on her show it was shit

  • Rufus looks like a bloke I used to eat every day at school.

  • he deserves more credit! legend!

  • alrite dad:P

  • guys, let's not start a war with australia over this! i thought the australian one was really funny, and so was this one. instead of saying which one was better of the 2, let's all just agree that the American version was a fucking travesty.

  • Calling the American version a travesty is too kind.

  • amen to that, lmao

  • Lol i totally agree!! Both made me lmao but the American one i can't even watch a whole segment...

  • @dramaticafantastica The American version did lack a lot of things that made the Aussie version so great (besides accents!). I do think Matthew's performance was better than Rufus's, because he seemed much more comfortable in the scene.

  • @dramaticafantastica yes our (American) version totally sucked bollocks

  • HAHAHAHAHA this is wway better than the aussie one. This is fuckin awesome!! the aussie one was too fuckin dry.. Im from NSW and I reckon the Brit one is hilarious!!!

"wine init it? Class!... no girl I'm bullit proof!!!"

  • this was WELL better than the aussie version

  • agree

  • I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. Watching the original only made this one funnier.

  • God this was so funny!!! I was rolling on the floor with laughter. Well, not quite but I was laughing! =]

    Who were you texting?

    Injurylawyers4u!

    Classic!!

  • wow this gy was amazing. kinda stupid how it was a play by play clone of aussie 1 tho.

  • Rufus hound is a genious, that was amazing

  • Mathew Newton was better at this scene... :-/

  • They're both pretty awesome in my eyes. XD

  • nah rufus was funnier the other guy was a proper wimp

  • @MichaelisMihael

Now way. I'm Aussie and even I know Newton was shit.

This Pom dude was funny from start to end.. newton only had one line.. 'OMG, your that BITCH wit the kid' apart from that, nothin.

  • HOLY SHIT, they couldn't have written that to be funnier!

  • it's improv

  • That was excellent!

  • What a dude.

  • Omg hahhahaha

  • 'Here i am like your fairy godmother here to grant you a wish...would u like to be invisible?...face that way!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA thats amazing

  • sooooo good on the spot

  • alright dad! loooooooooooooooooooooool

  • He's so funny!

  • Didn't expect Rufus to be this good at improv :)

  • I love Rufus so much!

  • This is like Matt Newton's one on the Aus version

  • Haha, never watched the UK TGYH because I'm Australian, but that was great! xD

  • i cant believe i never saw this but i dnt watch itv tht much coz ts not known for its funnys

  • well to be honest, i think this show is more adapted to the aussie and the brits than the americans. thats one of them i enjoyed

  • The American version could have been good if they'd chosen better people to be on it. There's no shortage of talented comedians in the US, but apparently very few good casting directors. :P

  • what i rekon is that they should use radio personalities instead. its better than using hollywood actors on it. they'll be too serious and think that they must get it right

  • This guys good but Matthew Newton was better. Still 10 times better than the american one.

  • Hmm, this was good and he was really quick on his feet, but I think Matt Newton was still a bit better. Matt made better jokes, but I like how Rufus took on a character.

  • this guy is much quicker on his feet than matt newton and this guy flowed better with all the accusations the people were dishing out rather than try to avoid them like matt newton tried to.

  • Rufus is made of gold!

    hes classic, end of.

    x

  • this is so good....how quick are the jokes??? too quick he has got chav life down to a tee....it rips the aussy verision...when he says listen bruv calm down and the geezer wernt even angry oh my god to good....quicker wit then the blokes from whose line is it anyway?! genius in a word well done rufus u r now my favourite improv star

  • hes much better than matt newton

  • this is funny

but no offence the australia version of this is funnier

and they took the idea of this as well

but i like this 1 as well

    look up

Matt Newton - Thank god your here

  • Clive Anderson is also a great reason to enjoy the UK version, he's very quick on the take. Any Rufus fans should check out 'Argumental', too.

  • i think this has to be the only UK person who has pulled it off well, as compared to the Aussies

  • UK > AU

  • wow .. this is exactly the same dialogue as the Aussie one .. but Matt Newton's was WAY BETTER !!

  • the aussie one with matt newton was sooooooo much better.....matt had a more natural response

  • It's interesting to compare this to Matthew Newton's version of the scene... Newton's a lot less chavvy.

  • But that's the point. They don't have chavs in Australia.

He was dressed as some sort of truckr/drag racer.

  • Rufus sounds like every person I work with in this!!!

  • watch the aussie verison, its better!

  • Iv'e seen it, and I think that Rufus had a better control of the situation

  • maybe so, but matty newton made me crack up more!

  • matt newtons better

  • Just watched it, and I disagree. Rufus had much more control over the situation, and came up with better stuff.

  • how come this was done in the aus version first? exactly same lines like

    this is "2nd floor flat"...

  • Because this was based on the aus one. UK and US versions took all the same skits, and lines.

  • "I don't like olives..."

From there on it was brilliant...

  • brilliant

  • u gota b goin well fast!

  • You never know what to expect - it was real wine! I would of had as one of the scripted questions: "Who's going to pay for this!?"

  • "is that wine, ha class" funny shit

  • Oh, I love this so much~

    And I never knew there

    were other versions!

    Are they good?

    ^-^

  • " Alright dad?!" Haha made me laugh!

  • who gives a fuck which version? its just a show u mugs

  • Where is the rest of this episode, i cant find it anywhere

  • Rufus Hound is brilliant at improvisation, come on guys give him some credit would ya?

  • borrowing some from old sacha i think, still it had its moments

  • This is okay...not as good as the aussie verson but i agree with below...uk is much better than the american version..gosh thats crap house

  • LOL.

It kinda freaks me out how the audience laughs so in sync with each other.

Aussie version all the way but this is still funny. xDD It's better than the American version. (:

  • it was alright but i loved aus version:D hilarious

  • aussie version was definitely better! still alright but no where near as well!

  • rufus hound is an absolute genius. this has got to be the funniest performance i've seen on the uk version of 'tgyh'. i just love how he doesn't try to defend himself at all. amazing. =p

  • Ha Ha thats funny

  • does any1 know the names of the two actors? the policeman and the man in the house

  • it doesnt matter how many times you watch this its still the best performance they have had on this show,,,,,, great.

  • Met Rufus Hound today at london tattoo convention, hes well nice!

  • wow. it's all in the name eh tosser?..i mean tozza

  • they have to, its part of the terms, they have to use the same scenarios n stuff. but they do it much worse than the aussies

  • ok thnks

  • "No girl I am bullet proof"

  • Ah i love Rufus! He is hilarious!

  • He looks a bit like Ewan Mcgregor to me :P

  • The comedian in this did better than Matt Newton (Aussie version), which is kinda expected seeing as Rufus is a comedian and Matt is an actor. Then ensemble cast is better in Australia though, they aren't as wooden.

  • LOL u no what i dont like olives!! classic!

  • -hello dad=genius

    wt a "lej"!

  • The "hello Dad" at the end was just brilliance.

  • oryt dad lol one of the best parts

  • he did better then newton. but newton is a dropkick. aussie version is better overall

  • that was hilarious matt newton done good but this guy was just that bit better.

  • Im am such an aussie patriot when it comes to this stuff but i gotta take my hat off to this performance. He did better than the aussie...

  • have that leroy =]

  • hahahaha "would you like to be invisible....face that way" classic.

  • Rufas Hound rocks!!

Stop arguing about whether the British or Austrailian versions are better, I think we can all safely say they are both better than the American one!!

  • HERE HERE!!

  • isn't this the same one as thr other one whr thrs matthew newton...

    :D

  • He did great! GO BRITS!!!!!!

  • I love Rufus Hound, he did this so well.
