I went to college in North Carolina. We had lost to them 7 straight times and that was the last time we played them my senior year. After listening to those Tarheel fans for 4 years- Having my door painted Sissy Blue after Price missed the free throw- I went screaming out into the courtyard. I got 10 hours of community service for "disturbing the peace". When the dean of students asked me if I would do it again- I said you bet!! All 20 hours of my community service were done in Tech clothing!

I watch this every so often b/c when i was 10 my pops found out i didnt do my math homework that night. My punishment was not being able to watch the game. He made me sleep in the basement while the game was on so he knew that i could sneak around to another tv and catch the game. i fell asleep and he woke me up to tell me how the game ended. i cried b/c i missed it. f*ck math

yeah, i watched this game live as a kid, and remember my dad being pissed at karl brown for hitting the 2nd free throw to bring them w/in 2, instead of purposely missing (so tech could grab a rebound and hit a 3 to go to OT). we should've known that you can always just go for the jugular in regulation w/ dennis scott on the floor!!

im an nc state fan, but im so glad i found this clip. i remember several years ago when raycom-jefferson would broadcast the games, they would do flashbacks in acc history, and i remember this one..."and there's mayhem in alexander memorial coliseum!" awesome

I was there! Thing I remember most about that is after Scott hit that shot, there was still time left in the game. Thinking the game was over, some students began to run out on the floor to celebrate. Karl Brown and Brian Oliver were pushing students back into the stands fearing they would receive a technical foul with our fans pouring on to the floor.

Awesome! I was at this game as a senior in high school with my dad, who had season tickets at the time. One of my all-time favorite Tech memories!
