1953 Mercury Monterey

It was offered new starting in the spring of 1953 with power steering and brakes from the factory. My family had one with factory power brakes. I have all the 53 ads and they mention it. No they did not offer duals until 55' and the 4 barrel was in the 54. The 53 was the last of the great Flathead Engine.

Gorgeous but not entirely 100% accurate. 1953 Monterey was never offered with power steering/4 barrel carb or dual exaust.
