Magpul TMag (training/translucent) magazine test in HK 416

Why don't they sell these mags? (TMAGs) I know they aren't strong enough for military applications but why not sell to civilians?

I want a translucent magazine ... Because ... I never look my my magazine while I shoot and if I ever get into a gun fight .. i want the guy shooting at me to know when Im out of rounds .. Or maybe he sees the round follower jamming up so he will stop shooting at me and let me know. Also when they break into my house and steal my guns while im at work ... The police will know when to rush the bad guy because they can tell hes out of bullets .. Because he also stole my see thru magazines...LOL

I love how the HK comes standard with that rail system, yet still has a longer magwell to be used as a forward grip.

There is a safety issue with using the magwell as a forward grip.

If you have an out of battery fire (See Kaboom) Your index finger of your R hand is less than an inch from where the receiver will split/fragment. (If your a south paw your thumb is touching that part of the receiver.)

I have seen the injuries caused by such failures. After surgery and recovery most of the feeling returns to the index finger. (For south paws they can re-attach the thumb, most of the time.
