@sanysov - are you kidding me? The Dudelange Stahlhuth is one of the world's greatest organs! I do like the Ingolstadt Klais but it's still a neoclassical organ... I think it's perhaps unfortunate that, here, neither the music nor the recording do the organ justice.
What a wonderful Catholic tradition with a one of the greatest organists in the world who performs this improvisation work of the chant "Pange Lingua" of our Lord. Thanks to Naji Hakim, Olivier Latry, Thierry Escaich, Olivier Messiaen, Jean Langlais, C.M. Widor, Marcel Dupre and all the greatest composers of French school of music who were deeply inspired the music in the Catholic faith and produced the greatest works for humanity.
I first heard your performance with orchestra at the 2000 AGO Convention in Seattle and was thrilled with your playing.
I've just been watching your performance of your husband's composition, "Pange Lingua". I greatly admire your methodical execution of the music. Every movement you make is rehearsed and executed with great precision and economy of motion. I think you are one of the GREAT performers of our time. Thank you for all the hard work which results in such fine musicianship.
Great and most impressive performance of these Hakim variations on the Pange lingua. Marie-Bernadette Dufourcet plays as always with elegance, conviction and power. We would like to hear her playing again and again. Keeping an unforgettable memory of her premiere of Hakim's Seattle Concerto in 2000.
I was honoured to give the Canadian Premiere of Naji's 'Vexilla Regis Prodeunt' in 1995 on the Carthy Organ at the Jack Singer Concert Hall in Calgary Alberta Canada. I think I likely gave the Canadian premiere of this work as well and some of Naji's other works too.
I was very proud to give the Canadian Premiere of this piece, what seems like ages ago now!

@huicua I don't think that modern Catholics will understand this kind of music..
