My personal thought on this song is that Miku died in a train wreck and can't accept the fact that she's dead. Jack, of course, is in that limbo place, trying to make her stay between life and death, while the goat wants her to pass on to the real afterlife. Just my opinion.

i think this what happened:

Miku is in a train wreck and she stuck between hell and heaven. Jack or the goat is the sign of the devil and hes trying to get her to come to hell. Miku doesnt want to die (even she doesnt notice she is) and i guess. becomes Mrs.Pumpkin to hide from death.

But yeah, they are right about the explanation of the story. But the Goat is the devil ( or something like that ) to the fact she cheated death. both of them are going through a land between heaven and hell to cheat having to cross over. Theirs many stories I've been told when i was younger about the origins of the jack-o-lantern. Like the story about stingy jack and how turnips were the first version. and another dealing with a mans head being cut off. but both cheating death. awesome song.

i personally thing that after a train wreck (possible cause by either the devil, aka the goat, or something else) mrs pumkin is in a state between life and death (jack may represent death) she is finding herself in a world of confustion and haulcinations, which if you've ever expericnced a strong bump to the head you may be able to relate with.

Well, obviously Miku is the pumpkin head's wife, and then they go to a party, and she gets so drunk that the evil goat who hates her tries to hook her up with a total lech, (Scarecrow.) and then they go and make love on a train track, but when she wakes up, she's so embarrassed, and has such a hangover that she leaves scarecrow to throw up in a patch of bushes, and he gets squished. Everything else is her dreams while she was drunk. (She later killed Pumpkin to prevent him leaving her.)
