This is recent history. The millions of people that endured WW2 have left us ample witness that these things happened. The murder of one person is a crime against God & man. The (attempted) murder of a people is to deny the God who made them. He will vindicate His Creation and all denials of crime will be silenced. Awesome video! I had to choose a project for school about Night. My friend and I wanted to do a drama of it, but our teacher said it had to be done in class, so we chose an advertising campaign, which includes a youtube video, but anyway, I think it's a wonderful video. Great work! I loved it!

Personally, even if he is a survivor of the camps, I'm hesitant to follow Elie if he preaches, "Every Jew, somewhere in his being, should set apart a zone of hate - healthy, virile hate - for what the German personifies and for what persists in the German."

I'm not denying the holocaust at all. I'm just saying, a peace prize shouldn't be awarded to a man who encourages animosity and terminal guilt with a statement like that, which, frankly, isn't going to improve the world at all.

Elie Wiesel was a pro-Nazi collaborator. In January 1945, when the Russians were about to take Auschwitz, both Elie and his father CHOSE f-r-e-e-l-y to go west with the retreating Nazis rather than be "liberated" by the advancing Soviets. Elie and his father and tens of thousands of other Jews CHOSE to remain with the Nazis and Germans and worked to help save the Reich from the onslaught of Germany's enemies. Elie didn't know at the time that the camp would be liberated. I admit it was a silly decision, but it was a decision made by a fifteen year old.

I'm not sure if Elie knew this or not, but what would usually happen with approaching enemy forces is the Nazis would evacuate the camp and then blow it up/destroy it so they could hide the evidence of what they'd done. It could have gone either way, and it was just Elie's misfortune that the camp got liberated and he'd missed his chance.

If the Nazis "evacuated" a camp, then it could NOT have been an extermination camp. Why "evacuate" people like Anne Frank and countless others who were of NO value to the German war effort if one of your goals had been to exterminate Jews?

The holocaust story really is an extremely dirty jewish hoax--and, Elie Wiesel is an extremely dirty Jew.

The Germans were trying to COVER UP what they were doing. At the time, many people did not know what was happening to the Jews in the extermination camps. In fact, the Nazis had even set up a special family camp that was publicly advertised in which the Jews were treated with humanity so they could cover up the atrocities, and casual observers in other countries could see no harm done. The name of the camp escapes me, but it's in a documentary called "Secrets of the Dead: Escape from Auschwitz."

Oh, and if you believe the Holocaust is a big conspiracy, just Google it and you can see Nazis over hundreds of dead bodies of Jews. If you still deny proof like that, then you are a sad person indeed.

Not only that, but it wasn't ONLY the Jews who got exterminated. Gypsies, POWs, Polish, homosexuals, the mentally and physically ill, socialists, communists, Jehovah's witnesses-anyone who were political or religious dissidents from Hitler.

Nobody said we didnt know. We were minding our own buisness. It was not our war. So we had no reason to go. Thats why we study the Holocaust in history. So We dont make the same mistake. It is well-known that the 1st edition printing of the book "Night" made not a single reference to any so-called "gas chambers". The perpetually sad-eyed Wiesel added the "gas chamber" story to later editions as the jews got all their lies straight about what they were going to say happened to them in the camps. Wiesel also claimed being liberated from two different camps so he's just a filthy jew liar same as Jerzy Kosinski who wrote "Paited Bird" as a memoir when he wasn't even there.
