Mr Leyson will be coming here to Fort Collins next weekend. Up to now I've heard of him by reputation only; now I'm even more eagerly anticipating his talk on the 23rd. What a illuminating talk.
I saw him about a year ago in Clovis, CA. It was outstanding to hear the stories from a man who was right next to one of the greatest "Holocaust Helpers", Oskar Schindler himself.
I'm just mad at myself for not taking a camcorder or voice recorder.
I can't believe that I found this video here. I attended Huntington Park High School and he was one of the teachers there. By the time I started to attend there, he had retired. When we found out he was a Holocaust survivor thanks to Oskar Schindler, the movie was shown to us in history classes time and time again. It is good to know he is still active in educating us about the Holocaust and his story of survival.
