What do you mean you can't change it back? You can always change it to the exact password as before, all it takes is doing the same thing over again.

@TheToastedProduction windows 7 uses a whole new branch of commands. make sure to check the net user /? command line so that nothing has been changed. i prefer windows 7 Dos to others, more simple and effective than the other lines.

you can just type cmd in the search bar or in run.

to fix the "access denied" thing right click on your desktop go to new: shortcut and type in "cmd" then click finish...rename your command prompt on start to "cmd" first...right click the cmd shortcut then click personalize...click on the "advanced" ...

After I right clicked on the shortcut I clicked on Properties. Then, "Advanced.." should be in the lower area and well, you click that. Then, I clicked on Run as Admin.

it won't type because it's personal...when the password command comes up type for example "1234" and hit enter then when it says retype retype "1234" hit enter and it should say something like "successfully completed" hope it helps^-^

when you get to the stage of writing in the new password, it wont show anything when you type it in, dont worrie about this, as when you type it its there, but it wont show, yes its anyouying at first but, yer type it in and it'll be there, the curser thingy wont move though,

if you followed every step correctly then it will work, make sure you type in the right commands in command prompt or it wont work! Thats probly why it didn't work for you!

when your in comand prompt type:

net user

(this will show you the names of the computers accounts, and you need to do it anyway " dono why though ")

then type:

net user "Persons account name" *

P.S. the "name" is spelt exactly the same from the list of names you got and you need the * after the name there is a space between them as shown above.

then it will say type new password: ****

then confirim password: ****

thats cause you guys are not on the admin account you needa be on there, you can use the command prompt to add a admin account for you to log on, just open cmd and put in /add (name) and then make it an admin look for vids on here that say what to do ^_^ good luck
