  • I've often wondered why Yiddish is spoken in the Orthodox community and not Hebrew. Should not the children of Yakov speak the language of te Torah? When Moshiach rules and the BeisHa Mikdash is standing again will not the Hebrew tongue be the spoken language? Wont all the nations be speaking hebrew when the Kohanim perform the services will it not be in Hebrew.? I have so much respect for the Tzaddikim but cannot understand why the Yiddish tongue is prefered over the language of Hashem.
