  • The one dislike is obviously a douchebag.

  • @TheRealRoadDogg Or dislikes the fact that Pillman died. It's like if the person liked it it would be rude and people say "how can anyone like the fact someone died"

  • dead more than 13 years. pro wrestling has gotten away with murder .

this venue should be over seen by state athletic commissions,

vince mcmahon should eb in jail

  • Very nice tribute.

  • Thank you for being you Brian. We will never forget you.

  • This is a wonderful tribute to a great man of tremendous courage. RIP Mr Pillman. Still missed

  • I loved watch Brian take on Barry Windam. Remember when he was "The Yellow Dog"?

  • idonnt think brian had anymore kids that he already knew.

  • i never had the pleasure to watch brian pillman wrestle,, but i watched most of his matches in wcw and wwe, and i can say that he became one of my top favorite wrestlers. this chrisma and skills are unbelievable. r.i.p flyin brian pillman.

  • Brian was a friend of mine at Miami University (Ohio). He was a passionate guy and a great football player. I don't know much about his wrestling career as we lost touch. I do know he was a class act and had a heart of gold. Rest in Peace my friend ~ joe

  • does anybody know where i can import the first song of the tribute onto smackdown vs raw 2008 i know how to import music but i wanna import the first song fighter for my brian pillman caw please reply

  • and what about his stature ? 170 cm ?

  • what was the cause of his death?

  • He had a genetically determined heart failure. In combination with his addictions and the stress of touring, this led to a heart attack at age 35.

  • Miami Redskins?

  • Brian Pillman truly was one of a kind.

Thank you for all of the entertainment you gave and Rest In Peace Mr Pillman.

  • A Great Athlete.

  • A man who was cut down way to early. One thing that struck me in your tribute was the respect Flair gave him early in his career. Do you think a Hulk Hogan would have asked to lose to an unknown rookie? Damn, I wish that Horsemen with Pillman would have lasted longer than it did.

  • He was a testament to the ultimate perseverance of man.

  • he was always one of my favorite wrestlers.and i still miss him!

    R.I.P "FLYING' BRIAN PILLMAN

  • I KNOW HIS SON

  • how is his family doing?

  • I found out that his Step-Daughter Alexis aka Sexy Lexi, who was in the Indy Circut for about 3 yrs, sadly was killed in a car accident on 11-25-2009, Thanksgiving Night, She was 26 yrs old, what I also found out, Alexis was turned down by the WWE developmental program, Vince McMahon the rich Faggot, She actually showed up at a TNA show in Cincinnatti as the fans kept chanting Brian Pillman's name, RIP Brian and Alexis, You both will be Missed greatly

  • 10 out of 10 for this video job well done my friend. pillman kicks ass 4eva!!!!!!!!

  • i was really in bereavement when i've heard word of Brian Pillman's death. Goodbye Brian.

  • did pillman really sing ""Blondes have more fun"?

  • As far as I know, yes, he did.

  • the vocals in the song do not sound like him at all. I have also never heard that he sung the song until your post. You could be right, but it doesn't sound right to me.

  • Some time after his death, there was a show made about him, with some of his WCW matches (e.g. the one against Jushin Liger on Superbrawl 1992) and an interview where he discussed his past. In the end, they showed the music video of this song. I watched it here in Germany on a Pay TV wrestling channel, and our commentators said it was sung by him. I just checked this part again, they really say it. However, I do not have any other sources, but he had a raspy voice like the singer of his song.

  • i did some more research about the song. it is actually called "California Sun". As to who sung it, i wasn;t able to find out who did it.

you could be right, but i don;t think he sung it.

in any event, thanks 4 posting the video.

  • You're welcome, and thanks for your efforts.

I guess the problem is that the internet wasn't that popular in the 90s. I even had trouble to find good pics of Brian on the websites. Besides the obituary by Dave Meltzer, it is hard to find good information about him.

  • Cool vid. RIP Brian.

  • I was shocked to hear he died.Wait a minute everyone talks about how the Von Erich had tragedy. The Hart Foundation family/one of the family members Pillman,Bulldog,Jim The Anvil,Owen Hart, and Bret Hart went through some horrific things. Pillman died.Owen and Bulldog died. The screwjob,Bret's career ending injury, his stroke, divorce from his wife,Owen's freak accident etc,I've never seen this much family tragedy since the Von Erich's

  • You are right, the Hart family had many tragedies, too. Besides the things you talked about, Stu Hart lost another son, Dean, in 1990. One of his grandsons, Matt, who was the brother of Teddy Hart (Annis), died when he was 13. And Chris Benoit was also a graduate from Stu's Dungeon. When you look at Bret Hart, AFAIK he was also close with Curt Hennig, Rick Rude, The Boss Man, and Hawk.

I am too young to have experienced the Von Erichs, but I have read, heard, and watched a lot about them.

  • This is a great tribute to my favorite wrestler of all time Flyin Brian Pillman!!

    Thanx for making it!!!

    Great job!!!!
