  • Do you need to wear a wig cap to secure the unit on the hair perfectly?

  • Hello--- If your hair is virgin, long or thick, you may need to secure it with a wig cap. If your hair is relaxed, you may wrap it with a hard setting lotion and you will not need to wear a wig cap.

  • ms. Lola in my family the women tend to suffer with hair loss in patches especially the temples I would like to try the lace units but not sure I could put it on correctly i m a little scared i'd jack it up love your videos sooooooo informative

  • is it bad to shave the hair line back

  • it is so amazing how you age slowfully and gracefully. I know woman my age that looks older than you Ms. Lola I know you got some natural remedies for us give em up Ms. Lola

  • thanks for all the advice..love your units.but i have one question..i wanted to know does your hairline eventually get lighter..ive notice looking on another application site the girl hairline was lighter than the rest of her skin..thats the only thing im more concerned about

  • Hi-- Lighter hairlines usually result when the sun doesn't get on the part of the skin where the wig is bonded. Use of adhesives should not lighten the skin.

  • thank you for the advice very helpful..love your units....i just have one question..i wanted to know would the wig turn the skin of my hairline lighter?..i looked at another person site doing a wig application and her hairline was lighter than the rest of her face...thats the one thing im worried about

  • I thank you for all the advice you have shared.I have been wearing lace front wigs for 2yrs and I still learn something everyday.

  • do have any tips to make a curly full lace wig look natural??

  • A curly wig with Yaki texture looks more natural that a straight texture curl.

  • I've watched a couple of your videos now. They are very informative and you are very beautiful.

Pay no heed to the rude commentors out there. Those aren't the ones that matter.

  • Thank you!

  • msluvchild7 YOU ARE RUDE! GO AWAY!!!

  • where is your natural hair edges? this video is a deterrent.

  • If this video is not beneficial for you, please tune in to another channel that is not a deterrent.

  • Thanks for the upload Lola! Ive never done this before and now I'm truly inspired! Wearing a wig is actually good for your hair I reckon because you're not tampering with you hair. I'm from the UK and have south asian hair just pass my shoulders, would I get away wearing it, or do I have to have mega short hair for this? Would I able go to bed wearing it? I'm new to this but know very little!

  • You are very welcome! Shoulder length hair can present a problem because you have to get all of your hair under the wig and still achieve a natural appearance. I recommend you perform more research before making a purchase.

  • @4Designers Thank you, I will keep researching. :-)

  • hello ms lola i was wondering does 18" merci on your site come with bangs because i want her but i don't want bangs.

  • Hi-- Our Merci stock wig is freestyle and does not have bangs.

  • Where are her "edges"? Has the adhesive pulled them out or are they shaven?

  • i was wondering the same thing.

  • They are shaven. People shave them back so the lace wig will look more natural.

  • @cherriberry1 looks like glue fucked that up. My sister experienced a similar thing then stopped using adhesives

  • Question? what about sensitive skin?

  • If you have sensitive skin use a skin protector and No Tape, but not MLAC, as it is not compatible with skin protectors.

  • Hey Miss Lola

I have a question I saw in an earlier video that you suggested to use the adhesive glue along with tape for an extended hold. I have been doing that AND IT WORKS GREAT. Im in Florida and sweat all the time but it still works. My question is " Will your new adhesive mixed with the No Tape Give me the same hold?"

  • Hi-- You should get the same hold with No Tape, however you body chemistry may react differently with the No Tape. I would definitely try the combination to see the results.

  • Dear Ms. Lola, I have a question. I want to buy a full lace wig, but I don't know whether I should get a french lace or a swiss lace. They always write swiss is very fragile and first time users, which is me, shouldn't start with it..Looks like you have swiss? P.S. I LOVE your videos!!

  • Hi-- I suggest German French lace, which is very sheer yet more durable than Swiss.

  • Thank you! I suggest German French lace. It is almost as sheer as Swiss and as durable as French. I do wear Swiss because I'm experienced with installs and removals.

  • CAN YOU SWIM IN IT

  • Hi-- You can swim with the unit on if your bond is waterproof.

  • I love how you get to the point! Thank you! very helpfull God Bless!!! Iiams Family

  • hey ms lola i have a question 4 u chow do you use "small glue free hair clips" on full lace wigs and will this be more effective than adhesive or tape

  • Hi-- You can sew the clips around the entire back of the wig and use tape or adhesive around the front hairline for an easy application.

  • Ms Lola i just bought a LF and your cream. how do i get the sides the sides to stop slipping?

  • Hi-- It sounds like you are applying the cream too thickly or not letting the first layer dry completely clear because once applied correctly the cream bonds tightly and will not slide. You may also use Super Tapes on the sides only if you continue to have this problem.

    --Ms Lola

  • How can i order some of your cream.

  • You may order the cream from my website, which is given at the end of the video.

  • Hi Ms. Lola, I was wondering how long does a wig last? How often should it be replaced if your using it daily??

  • When maintained properly, full lace wigs can last up to one year. Ideally, you should have two.

  • wow ur great im subbin! =]

  • Wow!! That came out gorgeous and you made it looks SOOO easy! I have a question though and I hope you don't take this the wrong way- but I wanted to know because I'm interested in a lacefront wig, but I'm afraid of hairline damage. Was your hairloss due to using lacefront wigs? I was wondering because your natural hair is so pretty and it seems that the hair loss is only around the edges.

  • Hi-- My hair loss is not due to wearing full lace wigs, but traction alopecia. My hairline is very thin and I do shave the downy hairs away for a smooth long lasting application.

    --Ms Lola

  • OKay, thank you for answering so quickly and clearing that up for me. :)

  • Ms. Lola- Love your videos! I have a quick question: I will be purchasing my first lace wig soon and wonder, if my head circumference is 23" should I purchase a medium wig cap or a large? Some medium cap measurements say they can fit up to a 23" circum. and most large caps start at a 23". I just don't want it too big or too tight. Thank you

  • To be on the safe side, I suggest you order a custom wig where you will give your 6 head measurements, which we assure that your wig fits your head like a glove!

  • Thank you for your quick reply. Being this is my first lace wig, I would rather order a stock wig and play around with it a bit before investing in a custom full lace wig. Also, I don't want to wait the 6 weeks or so to have one made right now. :) With this being said, would you suggest medium or large and I do understand it would be just a suggestion. Thank you!

  • You may want to try a large cap with a full lace cap design.

  • Thank you Ms. Lola!

  • No, I'm not a man, but a 52 year old female with a 35 year old gorgeous husband who can verify at anytime that all of my body parts are authentic and in perfect working order!

  • who i the heck thinks your a guy ! i think your pretty and who ever said that is a fool :(

  • GONE MS.LOLA!You are too much for me!lol

  • YOU ARE SO GORGEOUS MS.LOLA!

  • Thank you. You are gorgeous too!

  • silicone clogs pores. how safe is that ?

  • I do not recommend silicone-based products, not even shampoos and conditioners

  • no offense but OMG WHAT HAPPENED 2 UR HAIRLINE AND EDGES THATS AWFULLLLLL

  • I have hereditary hair loss, over which I have no control. I'm just so very thankful that my hair units address this problem so that I won't receive reaction like yours from other unthinking people who can't understand how traumatic hair loss can be.

    --Ms Lola

  • mama im a hairstylist and that perfect line of baldness is not hereditary thats from abusing your hair w. glue and not treating it .. putting chemicals and crap on your hairline isnt going to help baldness

  • I am an accredited Hair Replacement Specialist with 25 years experience in diagnosing and treating hair loss in men, women, and children. I have traction alopecia and androgentic alopecia, I suggest that you perform research about the causes and effects of hair loss before making uneducated statements in a public forum.

  • This is an instructional video which allows you in the home of this woman to watch and LEARN how to install a LF. NOT for you to speak in her edges and or lack there of.. She did what she came to do wich was educate and demonstrate. Thank you Ms Lola

  • Thank you!

  • Your vids are by far some of the best when it comes to LF. Very detailed & kudos for stating how far to cut lace depends on the person. Thanks for sharing!!

  • You are very welcome!

  • I never knew the glue was on the face! I always wondered how they got it to look like it comes from the scalp. Nice tut!

  • you give good instructions is that your real hair wen u start???

  • Hi-- This my real hair at the beginning of the video.

  • your lace front wig looks so natural.please where did you purchase it from and kind of hair was used.

    thanks for the videos

  • The wig is available for purchase at my website, which is given at the end of this video. The hair is Indian Remy Yaki.

    --Ms Lola

  • Thank you for being a blessing toso many people.

  • You are very welcome. Thank you for tuning in!

  • Thanks alot i have hair problems, this has really helped me alot as a solution. pl. i looked great on my wedding day!

  • Hi everyone!!

I've been trying for weeks to answer your questions, but my comments would not post. I finally found the problem. I had accidentally blocked myself from posting comments! So sorry--- I will try to catch up on responding to as many questions as possible.

  • You skin is so beautiful! You are wearing no makeup and I assume on a low tech camera and it just glows! Your tutorial was interesting too but I was distracted because I kept paying more attention to your smooth glowing face!

  • how come almost everyone i've seen applyin dis have receded hairline..now i heard that you have to shave ur hairline to apply d lace wig is that true..thnku

  • i recently tried a lace front funnmixxx,

some may have shaved and others may have caused damage.

i did not bond mine down because i have a full thick hairline, but i know someone who used tape, she said it stanks from the natural perspiration and left her hairline lighter once she removed it.

another thing, you might as well leave som of the lace aroung the hairline, because no matter how far back you cut, it is still DETECTABLE

they are fun but keep yo expectations and budget in wisdom!

  • also trying something that pricey by mail order is riskee...i order from LHB and what they pictured and described was not what i got and of course they don't give refunds so i am stuck with their trash

anyway, when looking at vids before it appeared the hairline was seamlessly undetectable, BUT once i tried these wigs (3 so far) no matter how well they are made, you gone see the lace and you gone see the grid. NOW even when viewing the vids i can detect hairline since i know what i am looking 4

  • ur right to order somethin @ dat price by mail is risky..and since dey dont even give refunds dats a definite NO...ill just stick with my own hair and half wigs

  • It matters how the wig is made. Lace wigs are better with bleached knots and there are techniques that are used so that they are less detectable. But you are correct they are never totally undetectable. Someone would have to be all up in my head to know I have on one. You can detect them mostly when the hair is pulled back or up in a ponytail because on most the hairline looks unnatural.

  • Miss Lola did an early video where glued fine strands of the baby hair down with the netting so that when you put the hair up, it gave a more natural hairline. That sounded like a good strategy to me. Plus I would measure a couple of inches forward with my same natural hairline shape so that I don't accidently glue my hairline, but always glue my skin, so I don't lose my hair. I don't like the idea of shaving my hairline all the time.

  • Yes I saw the video and that is the strategy I use as well. I've never and will never shave my hairline back or my on baby hairs. Many people are willing to make those sacrifices but to me it's just not that serious.

  • I think the glue which is applied to the hairline cause natural hair to recede thus creating baldness.

  • If you would go to her website, you will see that she did not loose her front hair from wig applications, its a condition. Women can suffer from hair loss just like us men. Actually she is an inspiration to women, especially those who actually care about their hair. As a hair stylist I am jealous us men dont have lace options right now! Very Beautiful Lady! Keep it up!

  • speeach

ever think that mayb she says that bc shes embarassed that her vanity messed up her hairline?

  • Wearing lace wigs makes you vain? Wearing make-up, wearing nice clothes, false nails etc, does all that make a person vain too? I don't get it. There is nothing wrong with taking pride in how you look. There are vain people in the world, Ms. Lola is not one of them. She has such a sweet and great spirit. Some people just have a problem with beautiful people.

  • so you know ms.lola personally?

no you dont, u think because she does how to videos &shes softspoken

she must b an angel right, c'mon

&yes people that wear FAKE nails

    FAKE hair

    FAKE color contacts

    &FAKE eyes-lashes are vein

the majority of those people cant leave home without them

...neverheard of a hairloss condition that evenly effects THE HAIRLINE??

  • I cant say I know her because I've only met her acquaintance one time. But she does have a good spirit like I stated earlier. My mother has a similar condition. Her hair receeds but not as far back as Ms. Lola and her hairline is very thin. Her temple area is nearly bald. My mom has never gone to a dermatologist so I can't tell you the name of her condition but it does exist. She has never worn a weave, a wig, or braids. She does wear make up and fake nails but that does not make her vain.

  • I'll agree with you that some people are vain but not everyone who wears fake hair or nails, or fake anything. I wear a lace because I have natural thick hard to manage hair. Wearing a lace gives me a break from that. I won't leave the house without my hair looking like I at least attempted to do something with it. You should look up the word vain. I guess I have a problem with you saying anyone who wears false nails and hair etc are vain. Not true.

  • ur right mayb vain is wrong

    insecure is a better description

  • You're right. Many people do feel insecure about their hair condition. If I had hair like Ms. Lola I would feel uncomfortable wearing it natural. Yet and still, not everyone who wears a lace does it because they are insecure or vain or anything else. I do it because putting on a lace wig can be so much easier than doing my own hair. It's thick and natural w/no chemicals. I have to wash it at least twice a week. I have to section it then comb thru it. My arms are getting tired thinking about it.

  • Hi Ms Lola. I visited your site, but I did not see any frontals. Do you sell those?

    Thanks.

  • hi i would like to no where i can get the supplies to make my own lace wigs like the lace

  • If you keep this on 3 weeks how do you wrap it at night? I'm sorry I'm a serious beginner.

  • What is the longest period of time you could wear a lace front wig without it causing any thinning?

  • i dont mean to be rude but i thought about buying one but i dont want to lose hair from using the unit....... did you loose your hair around your edges from using lace wigs????? please respond back thnk u

  • i am a beginner @ lace but i haven't lost any hair for the reason is i don't put glue in the front. just the sides and the back and it fits very tight and snug as long as you align it right.

  • dang that thing looks really NICe ...

  • I am Hispanic, can I do this as well?

  • yes, anyone who want to change their hairstyle can do this.

  • thank you it looks great

  • It looks so natural! i'm willing to lose my baby hair!

  • Comment removed

  • Do you think your hair loss is due to the wigs? People seem to shave their baby hair to put the wig on. I wear braids alot and Im thinking about trying this kind of wig but I don't want hair loss.

  • good point i am going away and iam tired of doing my own hair i want a real straight look and i want to try one but her hairline is gone if thats from the wigs then i dont know!

  • Comment removed

  • try a half wig all you hair wont be up but at least you wont lose your hairline

  • She should have used liquid bandaid first and then apply the glue on top of the bandaid. The bandaid will protect your hair and skin.

  • No, her hair loss is because she suffers from a hair loss condition that has nothing to due with wearing the wigs. She actually wears the frontals and the full lace wigs because of her hair condition.

  • UH-HUH

IS THAT WHAT SHE TOLD YOU

  • People can be so ignorant. There are women who suffer from hair loss conditions, same as men. Alopecia, cancer etc. Many women you see today wearing them do so for that reason. So their hair and/or hairline is already messed up. But people, such as yourself, assume it is because of the wigs. Yes wearing a lace wig can mess up your hairline if you are clueless, same as wearing weaves and using glue, wearing braids, etc. I have healthy natural hair and I wear a lace often. My hairline is in tact.

  • knoethyself: You don't need to explain anything. YOU know what you need to know. What anyone else thinks is purely up to them. JC18 doesn't know you does she? She doesn't know who you know, so it really doesn't matter. She can doubt all she likes, she can call people vain because of their hair, nails, etc and that is a huge amount of women the world over... so what? if she calls it insecure, that's up to her... she doesn't know you. Know Thy Self!

  • VeeBee I hear you. I just have a bad habit of trying to educate ignorant people. I don't know why. And what gets me is the fact that she is on youtube looking at Ms. Lola's vidoes just like the rest of us. I guess she's just as vain as we are huh? LOL!! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!!

  • HAHAHA! That's right! you're obviously from good people!

  • what is a better lace wig with free style parting or without?

  • How long does your units last?

  • Hello I really enjoyed your video, and iam ordering my first lace wig...but my friends have said that the wigs and glue have taken thier hair out along the sides and hairline..do you find that TRUE.

  • Hi Ms. Lola. Now even though I'm a Native American male who doesn't wear wigs or weaves, I still enjoy watching your videos. You are very good at explaining your techniques so that simple ears, like mine, may understand. One day I might try to wear one to see how it feels, or out one on my mom's hairless chihuahua. Hahaha just kidding. Thanks for making your videos, I always enjoying learning new things.

  • You are beautiful & very informative. I've learned much-like why the lace is'nt pre-trimmed...

Is bonding only part of the hairline ok? Are there bonds that'll allow daily removal? I so want to try it...but have'nt due to thick hairline, sideburns, & small space near eyebrows & temple area.

  • an you buy the lace wig adhesive in stores like sally's?

  • Hi. I noticed that you have thin edges have you ever tried Mtg for hair look it up on youtube. Alot of girls use it and I do too and my hair is growing!~

  • My daughter wants one really bad, and after watching this video and the ending result...I want one too. Is it really as easy to attach as it looks on the video? Or should we consider going to a professional to have it done.

    Thanks

  • Does this style have a tendency to pull hte hair out around the edges? I am misslola too, but I do not have your skills.

  • Hello

Thanks for the advice you can check back with us our cream will be available in the next 2-3 weeks.

    Thanks

  • Within the next two weeks with the price ranging from $35-$40 dollers.

    Thanks

  • Ms Lola I should be receiving my wig in 1 month and I would like to use you cream as a sample. Are you sending out sample and if not what is the cost of your adhesive cream?

  • Hello,

Our cream and samples will be availabe in the next week. The price range from $35-$45. Please revisit our site for more details.

    Thanks

  • Thanks Ms Lola. Could you tell me more about you special is it does it provide a better hold than Ultra Hold and safer? I did some research and Ultra Hold carrying a chemical in it that is related to cancer. My stylist that put on LF advises not to use Ultra Hold and I will not be using it, being that I did my research and it is true. The ingredient starts with and Isp, something. I did the research last month. I will look it and tell you more. But for now I'm interested in your cream.

  • Thanks Ms Lola. Could you tell me more about your special adhesive cream. Does it provide a better hold than Ultra Hold and safer? • We are in the process of working on our next video and updating our website.

    Thanks

  • WOW u make look so easy. I see its best not to braid your hair? should u wrap it? or just pull it back like you did? Pulling it back straight seems good but not if your hair is not straight, meaning no perm or press.

  • Hello,

Thanks for visitng our site. It really just depends on the style you are trying to accomplish but I prefer to pull my hair back.

    --Thanks

  • When you say pulled back, do you mean pulled back in a ponytail or in one braid? Im asking because when I pull my hair back I still have that bulky part.

  • Hello,

You might want to try wrapping your hair around.

    Thanks

    Kita

  • Ms Lola could you provide a video on youtube on how to cut a lace wig. One on how far and the other on people with hair and don't want to shave their hairline back.

    Thx

  • mrs. lola

I have a lace wig but when I put the wig on it does not match my skin. I have light but I am a carmel complexion. I cannot seem to get it to stay on.PLease help me.

  • Hi Tes the Invisi Bond Adhesive work also. The Ms Lola's Adhesive Cream will give you a stronger bond.

    --Thanks

  • Ms. Lola I need your adhesive cream. I don't want to ruin my unit and really want to wear it please tell me when will it be available again?

  • Hello,

Our new and improve Ms Lola's Adhesive Cream will be avaiable in the next 2-3 weeks. Please revisit our site for more details.

    --Thanks

  • MS Lola when will your cream be available and how much is it?

  • can you use invisibond instead of the cream will it work as good

  • no it's not nor does she look or sound like one. i'm not kidding but why are u so ignorant?

  • im so sorry!! my brother was using my account yesterday. he just told me. im so sorry. :(

  • Ms. Lola I ordered my lace a bit too light for my skin after being told it was the right shade. How do I dye the lace to match my scalp color?Or are there any other solutions to this problem?

  • Hi--- I have never dyed lace, but some people use Ritz dye. Sorry, I can't recommend a specific color. I suggest you first test the coloring on the excess lace you cut from the wig.

    --Good Luck!

    Ms Lola

  • Thanks...Other than dyeing do you have any other solutions to this mismatched lace color issue?

  • Hi again-- Sorry, there is really no solution; just really important to select the right color lace. Also sorry you were given the wrong color.

  • NICE HAIR! LOOK PERFECTLY NATURAL!

  • Hello,

It is very important to shave your hairline back. Front lace wigs purpose is to serve hair lose. The only way you would get a proper bonding area would be to shave your hairline.

    --Thanks

  • You have long healthy looking hair---you don't even need a wig!!! LOL...LOL..LOL

  • IMPORTANT: I ordered a lace wig from this seller. It does work, BUT it works better if you DO NOT have any hair on the sides. Shaving the hair-line doesn't work because when it grows back, it loosens the glue and the wig becomes loose. I have a full head of hair, including baby hairs, and unfortunately no glue on the market will bond correclty to baby hair. Hopefully this info. will give any new customers a better idea whether this is a good investment or not. Good luck ladies...

  • I heard your suppose to put the wig in front of your hair line if you don't want to shave and heard it works well. But I don't know I never bought one of these before. Maybe it might work?

  • wear a wig cap if u dont ur hairline to get messed up

  • i read somewhere that lacefront wigs destroy the front of your hair line

  • i love it..wow

  • Hi Ms Lola,I Love your and videos also. Thank you for being so personable. What is your expert opinion about the synthetic hair lace wig. How long will last.

  • soooo beautiful miss lola

  • Do you shave your hair line or does you hair receed on its own? I was curious because I went in to get my lace put on once and I was asked if I wanted to shave my hair line....

  • Hi-- The bonding area can not have hair. If you suffer hair loss or have a receded hairline, you will not need to shave back the hairline. If you have a normal hairline, you will need to shave the hair back in order to bond the unit correctly.

    --Ms Lola

  • Is it true that you don't have to shave the hairline if you don't want to? Instead placing the wig in front of the hairline as an alternative to shaving? I'm asking b/ I want to order a wig soon but want to make sure it's really for me. Thanks!

  • Thanks for the tip saying you cannot bond glue to hair.

  • Hi, will all of the bonding make your hair come out? Its must right?

    Tiffany

  • Excellent tutorials, Ms. Lola. I am planning to buy a wig and will definitely consider your products. You are very pleasant to watch.

  • Great video Ms. Lola! I love your voice.

  • Thank you!

  • Hi Ms Lola, First thing is I checked your site but couldn't find your water base glue.

Second, at my hair dresser, all the women getting lace fronts put in have a receding hairline, I naturally assumed that the lace front caused it, so my question is does adhering the glue cause hair thinning/loss?

  • ms lola. i have been watching your vids for two years now. i've learned alot. thank you. in a few months ( i'm saving) i am planning on buying a wig from u. i can't wait! but... i have heard stories from women who seem to have a hard time w/ their lf. is it really that much of a hassle b/c i want one but i'm scared to try if it is gonna be a pain. i currently wear weaves but i want a lf for the fall/winter months. this blending hair thing is getting on my nerves. so should i give it a try?

  • Hi-- I can understand your apprehension and advise you to research lace wigs further to see if they are for you.

  • are you worried about your hairline dissappearing?

  • Hi-- I lost my hairline 20 years ago, therefore I do not worry, but feel extremely blessed that I am able to address the problem with beautiful hair additions that have also helped hundreds of women like myself who suffer from hair loss as well.

    --Ms Lola
