  • Can you expand on why the overall render layer does not match the render-elements version? This is very important to us.

  • @blinkimage1 The Bumper car uses a Standard-Material with a "Multi-Layer" shader for the car paint. For an exact match this shader requires a blending mode of "Screen" instead of "Linear Dodge (Add)" for reflection and specular render elements. So one would have to cut & copy the reflection and specular elements into new layers with "Screen" blending mode instead (using a selection for just the car paint material).

  • @blinkimage1 You can read about it in the 3ds max docs under "Compositing Render Elements". However, in the demo I liked the the stronger hightlight the "Add" blending mode provided better and went on with that. So the visual difference is not caused by psd-manager.
