  • People are always hypercritical on any ballet related post I don't know why. It reflects badly on the community. Thanks for your effort.

  • I can tell you are rolling forward when you're flat. Not good for your feet.

  • are they a pointe shoes or just a normal ballet shoes???

  • they look quite low down at the heel, is it just the kind of pointe shoe it is? i love your feet, your arch is so pretty<3

  • you have beutifull feet!! :)

  • i love your pointe shoes! im 10 and im on pointe. im not trying to brag. how do you break it in??

  • Hey Leah! haven't uploaded new vids in a while! Hope you'll be uploading more :D Cheers!

  • omg my name is leah and im a dancer! :D

  • they are dead. :| buy i new pair! :)

  • i know this is just a demo video, but you REALLY need to put your heels together in first. If you are hyperextended like me, I realize that some teachers will tell you to space your heels to accomodate for your hyperextention, but in all reality, you need to figure out how to take your legs OUT of hyperextion when you dance. It is ok for a leg on lair to be hyperextened, but you should NEVER put wheight on hyperextention. I am a dancer and a massage therapist, so this is pretty accurate.

  • @iluvboston33 thanks for your comment, but I would prefer to stick with what my teacher has told me about how to deal with it, and in reality i physically cannot put my heels together. but i will ask my teacher about help and advice for it, and thank you again for the comment :)

  • i do exactly what you do to break in my pointe shoes! but i wear grishko. better for my feet. my friend loves bloch, though and they really last.

  • I just go new pointe shoes and they are Bloch Suprima. do you like it? i think they are beautiful and they are comfortable but im nervous on how the box is pretty narrow. do you like them better?

    Thanks :]

  • You have a lovley arch and lovely lines and a beautiful turnout. :-)

  • I've got new pointe shoes but one foot is stronger than the other :/ do have any exercises to help strengthen both feet and break the pointe shoes in?? p.s. you're amazing at pointe work-you seem really light on your feet :)

  • i really love ballet im start at the age of 12 is it too old

  • not at all a girl at my ballet school started at 13 and now shes one of the best girls in our class :)

  • that last comment was to @cutietiffany11 by the way

  • i don't think its to old, it might be hard, but i started ballet when i was in year 7 (13) but i had done dancing before.

  • i want some help! . kay i just got new pointe shoes and they r alredy dead . i had a 1 month break frome dance , and my teacher sed to do the exercises she told me and i did but my r to strong and flexable for my shoes that r capezios but they r just not the right shank for me but they fit my feet so perfect! , so if anyone can help me that would b sssoo great!!!!

  • oohh... another question... some pepoplee and yourself told that your pointe shoes were almost dead... how do you know when that happens?

im sorry .. im just starting & i have so many questions =P

  • you will know when your pointe shoes are dead if they no longer are stiff and they no longer help support ur ankles :)

  • is it good to break them?

everyone tells me it is but my teacher its always like DONT DO IT... they have to break with time & your effort... so I really dont know what to do =S

  • try to turn ina little bit, because your feet roll in.

chappe is to escape and your jumping into it.

other than that pretty good :)

  • i have the same shoes, just got them and im breaking them in right now, so thank you for the excercises. :]

  • wow thank you so much! this helped me a lott im starting pointe (:

  • WOW that really helped me!

  • Great job! Do blochs last long and are they durable?? p.s. i think they are almost dead

  • thanks! :)

um, yeah in my personal experience they are qite durable and long lasting, though obviously it would vary from person to person (: but i like them :)

    and yep they were :L:)

    thankyou for the comment :)

  • @slushie211 I personally started out with blochs but if you want to move on to pro and/or prima ballerina you might want to choose a more expensive brand like Gaynor. However, like she said it varies and depends on what your future in dance might be.

  • your really good!!!!!!

  • You're really good :)

  • hi,

    thank you:)
