  • It's not impossible. In fact it's very possible. It's not easy, but i can assure any aspie who wants to change, the end result is so worth it. Plz trust me, i'm talking from personal experience. Been working on this stuff for about 2 years now, and man am i glad i did!

  • There isn't anything wrong with having the syndrome. However i still hate it when i see all of these "tolerance" videos praising one over the other. Just cuz someone's born with this doesn't mean it's impossible to change IF THEY WANT TO. If u have the syndrome and hate it, they i encourage u, hate it. If u like it, then i still encourage u like it. If u want to change, then i still encourage u, change and make yoursrlf into someone U want to be

  • Seriously ppl get it right. I don't care if u have AS or r NT, all ppl r equal and different.

  • it would be vice versa

  • LOLZ Aspie says "Was it something I said??" LOLZ so wrong... ha ha ha

  • Windows NT nuff said crashes and is crap as fuck LOL. The driver that runs XP and more superior machines is called Aspie I think Bill Gates had the last laugh LOL

  • LOL did you know in some cultures it is considered rude to make eye contact and yet they are the most advanced civilisations. Eye Contact is not the be all and end all of life. Did you know that you take in more when you are not concentrating on the eyes???

  • @Aspergianstar2009

Yep it's rude to Make eye contact in Japan

  • I completely disagree with this video. Since when are aspies exempt from racism and prejudice? Since when do aspies not break down under stress?

  • @Ilikemustard Racism is much rarer among aspies, and it has to be carefully taught -- even then it usually doesn't work. The concept of stigma generally doesn't make sense to us; it almost has to be one who does perceive it to fall into it. (My adoptive parents tried to get me to look down on blacks and Latinos, with no success.) And we do break down under stress; it's just a different kind of stress -- sensory confusion rather than crises.

  • @murmur5555

That unfortunately sounds like barbaric HUMAN nature that effects all groups of people across time around the world.

  • @murmur5555 Like I said: not Asperger's syndrome -- clearly NPD.

  • @murmur5555 I should also point out that I am unable to find any real evidence that Dr. Appelbaum has Asperger's. Even his harshest critics cite symptoms more similar to Narcissistic Personality Disorder, only citing Asperger's from not knowing what Asperger's really is.

  • @murmur5555 See, everybody, here is a perfect example of stigmatization and racism as I mention in this video: take one person (Dr. Appelbaum) as an example, attach some irrelevant detail (Jewish), and let that cover a whole class of people.

Prejudice is the real disease here, and those who have it only do harm to the normal people around them. They should be kept out of all positions of authority.

  • i use Linux :3 remember windows is only good for gaming because its the most popular OS and developers can make way more money out of this fact by making games that specifically run in windows . and Linux has way less viruses because its less popular and you'd have to change the virus for each distro :3 mac is catching up with windows though :)

  • Just got to remember, some of us NeuroTypical's aren't so typical. Some of us are so out of the box we've lost the box. Love the video though, it made me giggle. :)

  • PCs are better for gaming than Macs (probably because games tend to come out on PC sooner). At least that's the way it was not too many years ago. Pretty much all aspies excel at gaming, especially puzzle games and real-time strategy games. Neurotypicals (aka "neurotics") tend to prefer action-oriented games. Of course, there are crossovers, but neurotics typically handle the tactical aspect while aspies typically handle the strategic aspect. But this isn't written in stone.

  • In MBTI terms, "NT" means "iNtuitive Thinker," and aspies usually are exactly that. "Neurotypical" is just another word for "neurotic." XD

  • Ha ha ha!!!! How cute!!! 10's Across the Board!!!

Only thing, Aspi has to deal with just as much prejudice, misunderstanding, bullying, ridicule, & racism as NT + MORE so why did you say that Aspi's don't have to deal with this?!?!?

  • @Sogwa It's not that we don't have to deal with it at the receiving end. In fact, we're probably the #1 target of it these days because we're such "ultimate nerds." It's that we don't have it as part of our own psychology. (As a rule, that is -- there are some who have gotten in with the wrong crowd and been taught it, and others who aren't so far "down the spectrum" and picked it up. But generally we judge by character, not appearance.)

  • @bobgreenwade

''But generally we judge by character, not appearance.) ''

Yea, that's me all the way. People ALWAYS said l had weird friends.

  • I'm an Aspie but the Myers-Briggs personality type says that I'm an INTJ , so I still don't get the diffirences between Aspies and NTs

anyway , I love this video

I wonder what program have you used to make it

  • @dcsk12 I'm an Aspie and INTJ as well. It's probably common, actually, considering that so many INTJ and Aspie traits overlap.

  • @MachiLikesRed: My apologies for the apparent rudeness. You make a good point about our box being different, though actually our "box" can be more said to be "in a different place" (that's kind of a weird and complex distinction that there really isn't room here to go into).

I do thank you for your kindness and patience in your reply; I've had some replies of your sort that have been very mean.

  • "I'll be in my trailer." XD

A similar video could be made about an aspie asserting it's superiority, though.

  • Yeah, it probably could, and probably just as easily. But of course then it wouldn't be quite the same parody.... :-]

  • I TAKE IT BACK I HATE NT BASTARDS

  • @Aspergianstar2009 STFU, bug.

  • I have done something similar. However a lot of NTs could learn from Aspies and vica versa. I really do not see why we keep on challenging each other. I am AS and I personally feel that not all NTs are that bad.

  • No, it sometimes comes out that way when I do things like this. But we Aspies do have our weaknesses where the NTs cover us. It's a two-way street. This skit just emphasizes the other direction, is all.

  • That was very neat and clever!
