@darkmossie633 Huh, I will have to look into that I have never hear of that. But I have always thought the older ones felt better. Maybe thats why. I am pretty sure this reel was made in china. But I do know there are still reels made in Sweden. I believe the 7000C3i is made in Sweden still. I have one of them lying around its a great reel!
well man been out fishing with that 7000 yet ,i tried on on the beach a few weeks ago and it feels as good as my swedish 7000s and thats all 4 of them
@alancooke32 I took it out last friday night i have it on a uglystik tiger. and took it out channel fishing and got a 12lbr no problem and i have to pull it up from the water to the top of a bridge and it was a good 20feet no sweat!!!

Honestally i think it is just as good as the c3. Just with out the carbon matrix drag andi think the c3i comes with berings instead of bushings...I got this one for Christmas and i see them on e-bay from $100 to $120 with around $10 shipping
@Cantrell2500HD I waas talking about the drag system..This reel has the 6 washer drag system and i want the carbon matrix drag..Alot better drag system..Im not sure if i can upgradee it for cheap op not but i might..

I've gt a 7000's made in Sweden but i do not really like it...i just like Avet and Shimano =D

sometimes I'll lay my reel ( flat side ) on a empty pop can to make clicker sound twice as loud ,, If I'm fishing without a pole holder.
