Alualu beat Iupati in the Senior Bowl..and SF def reached for Smith. Dwight Freeney was projected late first, early second by Kiper, and he went 11th to the Colts. I think they made a good pick. They tried to trade back, knowing some teams were interested, but not enough was offered. Miami traded back, 2 picks after the Jaguars got him to #28...and they got a guy similar in size to Alualu with Odrick. New England was also high on this guy. We needed someone who could get after the passer, and we needed a DT..he kills 2 birds with one stone.
