@Swinadive I wouldn't be that confident. While Germany are undoubtedly the better team by far, Australia has improved dramatically since the World Cup with the coaching of Holger Osieck. Trust me, we'll keep the scoreline down.

@Aristotle312 To those of you that think this friendly match was some sort of 'revenge' you're wrong. A friendly match doesn't compare to a World Cup match and we, the Socceroos aren't the better team, although I think the world cup match between Australia and Germany was not an indication of our (Australia's) football ability, even though Germany were the better team the scoreline wasn't a good indication of where we are at on the global stage.

@MrTimmyCahill I'm in full agreement that Germany is the better football team and that we simply cannot compete with such high quality standards. However, to claim that it wasn't a form of revenge is incorrect. While Germany may have had only a fraction of their high class players on the field, the victory was still indicative of Osieck's improved coaching strategies. Also, the fact is, we beat them in the match and in a fair manner. We were the better team on the day! Accept it!
