I've not been on a Bubble Car in 23 years. The Misses and I got stuck on one going from Paddington to Oxford after the booked Class 47 failed. What a God awful slow ride that was. And no loo, to boot! But the Driver was very nice and made longer stops at stations for those who had to go.

Does anyone have a film of the old "push and pull" on this line in the late 50s? We had to change trains from London at Princes Risbrough to get the local steam trains to Kimble. Lovely days
