dude u have to know how to put in those fast notes in the beat. u cant just add them in and screw up the beat...in the beginning there was no clear, u have to get good at having a clear beat first before u can try all the advanced stuff ur trying, thats what makes those drummers advanced, they can keep a meter while doin all that complucated shit, one step at a time man.

sabian has some good quality cymbals but is a bit inconsistent in their sound IMO. paiste seems to be the most durable because of some kind of finish they put on the cymbal and best quality throughout their line. and zildjian.. eh kinda watever. they have some nice cymbals, nd some not so nice ones. pretty much preference tho

I agree. There are drummers who can do more with three piece drum-set and three cymbals than these guys with those giant sets with hundreds of cymbals. And, for instance, if you play rock, like ACDC, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, then the best choise for such music is Paiste. Cool drumming.

Take time to think about your solo - give it structure and a theme. Use dynamics. Just sounds like you're slamming on everything without any thought. Lots of potential though!

1. great video.

2. he was kidding about the 8 cymbals, but he still thinks u need more than 2. u only need more than 2 if u dont have any skill. the more cymbals that you NEED, the worse you probably are as a drummer.

3. Sabians are very expensive pieces of crap, and crack very easily.

@metzykid Sabians are cheaper, AND more durable than Zildjians for your information. If you think that than I highly doubt that you have ever played a Sabian AA, HH, AAX, or HHX.

I think Sabian is great! After all, their factory was the old Zildjian factory where they made the K series cymbals. and the same workers that worked for Zildjian there now works for sabian so.

Some people find the sound of the kick with no front head more pleasing to record with. To me it sounds like your kicking a kickball, but to each their own, I guess. Very nice solo, by the way. Love the sound of those drums.
