@kcherme In the U.S.A. you have the right to own guns but you can only practice it if you have the money to buy the gun (and the ammunition) and pay for the training. I've heard that in Sweden you get to keep your rifle once you finish with the military. Although I don't know if it's true.
One thing I'm sure about is that owning a gun in practice, isn't a right. It's a privilege.
In most countries around the world, you can only own hunting gear. You can still find guns in the black market though
